After several days of researching, I have come to the conclusion that unless there is some unknown connection, the resemblance between Tripp and the baby born on April 18, 2008 to Amber and Levi is simply a coincidence.
I don’t think this exercise has been entirely futile, though. I now have questions about Tripp that I never had before. Those little niggling doubts about Bristol’s late 2008 pregnancy have grown stronger. Something just doesn’t add up. I am going to be working that angle now. If anyone runs across information that may be useful in proving that there was something amiss with the Tripp pregnancy or that Tripp is older than his stated age, please comment or email me.

Altho it won't have an effect on supporters or those who despise Palin.... the truth of Trig's birth is like an addictive puzzle.
Pick it up and work it, one step forward then three back.... walk away for a few days & try a new angle. I hope the answers are eventually revealed, because I hate unsolved puzzles!
Multiple infants: Ruffles & Trig, each presented as "our baby" at different times. An almost too quick return to work with "premature (?) baby in tow". Bristol missing for several months prior to "Trig" birth. The Wild Ride. Premature birth of disabled child without proper medical facilities or High Risk OB-GYN attending. No - there is a cover-up and too many ppl were in on it. Just need to move the right rock & the whole story will fall.

keep digging - there were pictures of Bristol taken a week before the RNC and she was SKINNY as a post. Unfortunately, those pictures have disappeared. It is my theory that Tripp was born much earlier than reported. TriG was not born to anyone in that immediate family. He may be a cousin, he may even be a twin, but he is not Sarah's birth child.
I have to say, and I've said it before - on December 18th, 2008, my local ABC TV station ran a clip of Governor Palin bending over a hospital crib greeting her firstborn grandson. Considering that Tripp had not been born yet, then it must have been an old clip of SP greeting Tripp/TriG.
There was a video, or a link to a video, on PG. It showed Bristol, Levi and others at the airport going to the RNC. She looked pregnant. I think it was in Seattle and the paper verified the date and all. Regina might know how to find it. That could be further researched. It definitively makes it appear that she was pg in 2008 and could have given birth to the blond Tripp around the end of the year.
I think Tripp was born later than 12/27/08.
The pictures of Bristol a week (or two?) before the RNC did not show the enlarged Bristol of the RNC. But the pictures also didn't show her belly. She could have been 3 months along instead of 5 months. Sarah said 5 months to bypass the Trig rumor and then made Bristol wear an empathy bra/belly at the RNC to look further along. Together with a tight gray dress, perhaps borrowed from Meghan McCain,Bristol looked 5 mos.

Could have been a picture of Palin visiting the nursery in a hospital and they added the grandson part, assuming Bristol had already had her baby. Was the station in Alaska? -B
