Oh no! But I thought you were moving in with your son? That you and your husband have health issues and inadequate care and need help?
Suggestion: Apply for your local weatherization program. Every state has one. Fixed income retirees on Medicaid and families with young children will qualify easily. They'll fix your heating system, roof, replace windows, etc. Do a websearch to find your local office and phone number. Do it today, seriously.

Do you have more moderately-priced pens? $5-$10? I'm sure your pens are wonderful and worth every penny, but you'd generate more sales volume with less expensive versions.

Here is my response.

Hi guest - Moving in with our son is not possible right now. The cost of moving, not to mention turning their living room into a room where we would have a measure of privacy, is prohibitive.

Waiting for the weatherization program to make repairs to our heating system would have resulted in our having an electric bill that we would have been unable to pay.

The problem with our heating system started last winter when a bunch of stray cats took up residence under our home. During a cold snap, they tore holes in our ductwork which we didn't discover until our electric bill arrived and was nearly $400.00.

A neighbor patched the ductwork, which lasted for the remainder of last winter but while we were in Texas last month for Christmas, those cats ripped the ductwork out again and this time there was no way to do a patch job.

We had to call an HVAC installation company and have them replace the ductwork; not cheap but not something we could wait to do. My husband and I were at risk for Hypothermia, because in addition to running up the electric bill due to the heat running constantly, our house was unbearably cold.

We are just hoping the cats don't rip it out again because we can't afford to make more repairs. We are glad that the winter has been mild for the most part and are hopeful it will continue to be warmer than normal. The cats don't like cold weather and when it turns cold they try to find ways to keep warm.

They say no good deed goes unpunished and that seems to be the truth. A neighbor breeds kittens in her home and when they get to a certain size she puts them outside. She doesn't feed or water them.

Why she does this is beyond me. She is an EMT and I wonder if she likes to "deliver" the baby kittens. Neighbors, who have lived here for much longer than we have, say she has been doing this for many years and that she is very eccentric.

My husband and I felt sorry for the kitties and fed them. Now, they refuse to leave even though we no longer provide food and water for them. Other neighbors are feeding them but our house, a doublewide mobile home, has gaps in the underpinning, which provides shelter for them.

We need to raise money to replace the underpinning so we don't have to worry about them tearing the ductwork out again. The weatherization program doesn't repair underpinning, unfortunately, so we have to take care of it.

You asked if we could sell pens at a lower price. The answer is no. We are not making a lot of profit. There are kits that have to be purchased to make the pens from and they cost from about $3.00 to as much as $30.00.
There is also a blank, made of wood, acrylic, corian and other materials that forms the outer part of the pen. The blanks may be free if using reclaimed wood or cost a pretty penny depending on the material.

I'm sure you understand what I am saying. It costs money to make the pens. The shipping is included in the price so for a pen that we ask $35.00 for our profit is only about $18.00; even less when counting the cost of the electricity used in manufacturing the pen. Time spent working is of some value, as well.

We ask a fair price for the pens and I advertise them here because we can't afford to pay to advertise them.

I hope you understand more now about our situation. Your sarcasm did not go over my head but that is all I will say about that.

Anyone who is annoyed or offended that I ask readers to consider buying a pen from our website if they are looking for unique gifts can just close their browser.

In the comments about this post, Cracklin' Charlie makes some interesting remarks about the possible true ages of Trig and Tripp.

I have always thought along the lines that Charlie is thinking.

Cracklin' Charlie makes the suggestion that perhaps Tripp was born on April 18, 2008.

I think the Grinch visited us last night. We went out this morning, got in our car to go to the drug store to get meds and our battery was totally dead. We charged it all day and pfffft...so now we have to buy a battery for our 2005 PT Cruiser and to top it all the battery is hidden and hubby has no idea how to remove the battery.

In the comment above, Sarah is obviously referring to Shailey Tripp. Note that she doesn’t deny being massaged by Shailey. In fact, she seems to confirm that the massage did indeed take place. Then she tries to lay the blame for people thinking she isn’t Trig’s mother on Shailey. It seems like Sarah is trying to make people think that the Trig truther issue is a recent thing when in reality people had doubts about Sarah being his mother in 2008 and Shailey Tripp was unknown until early this year.

What I get from Sarah’s own words are that Shailey did massage Sarah just before Sarah announced her pregnancy. Sarah wasn’t officially pregnant on March 4, 2008 so she didn’t tell Shailey she was pregnant when filling out the paperwork prior to the massage.

If Shailey was lying about massaging Sarah, why wouldn’t Sarah have just said that the massage never took place? Instead she blames Shailey for the whole Trig truther issue that she still deals with every day.

Sarah, not Shailey, is the liar. I think this post is worth reviewing again since Sarah didn’t deny that Shailey Tripp massaged her when she was seven months pregnant.

Hubby and I arrived at our son’s house late last night. It was a joy filled occasion. My granddaughter has gotten so big since I last saw her. She just recently turned three and is quite a character. My Son’s Offer

Will it Ever End?

We got some more bad news this week. Last summer, in May and June, my husband had double cataract surgeries. He initially thought his vision was better but then it worsened. He reported it to his eye doctor/surgeon. The Dr. said he didn't see a problem and that hubby's eyes would probably start improving soon. A 6 mo. return appt. was scheduled.

A few weeks ago, we got a letter from the Dr. saying that he had sold his practice in our area to another eye doctor. Hubby went yesterday for his 6 mo. check up with the new Dr. and he said the lenses that were implanted after the cataract surgeries had scarred over. Hubby will be having YAG laser therapy to attempt to clear his vision in January as soon as the Dr. gets the equipment. The Dr. wasn't too optimistic about the outcome of the laser therapy and cautioned us that it doesn't always work. He said that if it doesn't work hubby's vision will most likely deteriorate further and that he may even go blind.

Hubby has diabetes, which is partially responsible for his eye problems. Hubby has also been having to see a podiatrist for a sore on his foot for a couple of months and had an appt. with her today. She said that it was a little infected so she put him on antibiotics and hubby has to be extra careful with that foot. He is pretty down and worried about everything.

I have two doctors’ appointments on Friday. One is my pain management which is the only treatment for my condition and the other is my regular monthly check up. I know hubby worries more about me than himself and I worry more about him.

Please pray for hubby or think good thoughts and also pray that we get to go spend Christmas with our son and his family this year since it may be our only opportunity to ever go. Please recommend hubby's pens to friends and family so that hopefully we can raise enough money for the trip. Thanks for all the support so far. It has been greatly appreciated.

They Aren’t Giving Up So Neither Can We…

So we can’t give up our search for the truth about the hoax known as babygate.

While doing some research, I came across an interesting coincidence. On April 25, 2008, a week after the birth of Trig Palin was reported, the movie Baby Mama starring Palin look-a-like Tina Fey debuted in theatres. Also debuting that same day was Deception.

So in April 2008 we have Baby Mama, Deception and Sarah Palin doesn’t believe in coincidences.

One thing we know for sure. There definitely was a baby mama deception in April 2008 because Sarah Palin didn’t birth no babies that month and we’re not giving up until we uncover that deception.

Trip Fund O’Meter

We now have $197.50 in our trip fund. We still need about $650.00. For those who don't know we are trying to raise money to visit our son's family in Texas for Christmas this year. We have a 3 year old granddaughter who we haven't seen in over a year and who we have never been with for Christmas. I have some health problems that are getting worse and this year might be the last that I am able to make a road trip. My husband is selling ink pens that he makes himself to try to raise enough money for the 2200 mile round trip. Hubby added a few new pens earlier this week. They’re All Fools…

How stupid can they be? I think we all know the answer to that question.

Reports at this time are saying Palin may be considering backing Newt Gingrich. After all he heaped tons of praise on her wrinkled behind after her Labor Day speech in Iowa about corruption in Washington.

But then again Romney is said to be actively seeking her support and his senior aides have invoked a speak no ill against Palin policy.

Palin endorsed Perry in the Texas GOP gubernatorial primary race in 2010 but now is said to have reservations about him because of his record of rewarding campaign donors with high positions. How very hypocritical of someone who filled most of the positions in Alaska government with her unqualified school buddies.

Though Bachmann has claimed that she and Sarah are friends that relationship is all washed up. Besides Sarah would never endorse another woman for a position she coveted so badly.

Then there’s Cain, who is said to really want Sarah’s support. Cain is the candidate most like Sarah. Slap a wig, dress, lipstick and a pair of specs on him and it would be hard to tell them apart if he wasn’t black. His intelligence seems on par with hers and he even comes with his own scandals.

So while the fools all clamor for the support of a washed up windbag, our smart President is preparing for his second term.

If any of the clowns mentioned above manage to get elected as POTUS you can bet something fishy happened and this country is in deep doo-doo. I sincerely hope that doesn’t happen.

Encourage everyone to vote Democrat. You can bet all the GOP’ers will be trying to get every vote they can by hook or crook.

Trip Fund Update

We now have $170.00 dollars in our trip fund. We still need another $680.00. Thanks to all who have purchased pens.

For those who don’t know, my hubby and I are trying to raise enough money to travel to Texas to visit our son and his family. We haven’t seen them in over a year and have never spent the holidays with our three year old granddaughter. I have been suffering from a painful condition for over a year now and was recently told that what I have is most likely Dercum’s Disease. It’s a rare disorder and there isn’t a lot of information about it. There is no cure and it’s treated with strong pain killers which is the treatment I am already receiving. I know the condition will likely worsen to the point where I will not be able to go on a road trip which is why I want to go so badly this year.

My hubby makes the pens we are selling in his little shop that he set up in a storage building. He taught himself how to make them by watching videos on youtube and other sites. He only started about two months ago. Here is one example of his work.

Support For Shailey Tripp and A Personal Plea

First, I want to apologize for “disappearing” but I have been quite busy lately with doctors appointments. More about that later.

Today, I want to show my support for Shailey Tripp. I know from comments that several readers have wondered about my opinion of her. I want to state for the record that I believe she is telling the truth.

I believe she is telling the truth about her relationship with Todd Palin and about giving Sarah Palin a massage in March of 2008.

I know some people doubt her and say that she makes statements that are contradictory or absurd. I think the reason it seems that way is because she is trying to recall events several years past. It is difficult. Sometimes you forget details. Sometimes you forget events completely.

Just this morning I was talking to my husband about my high school days. My husband and I grew up in different counties and didn’t know each other during our school years. I was telling him that I went to school with a sister of a friend of his. We talked for a few minutes about hubby’s friend. Suddenly something I had totally forgotten popped into my head. I remembered going to the wedding of hubby’s friend’s sister. His sister and I were just casual friends but she loved my handwriting and asked me to register the wedding guests in her guest book. I stood in the church vestibule and wrote down the names of everyone who attended the wedding. It was so weird the way that memory just popped into my head.

I think it’s probably that way for Shailey. Details of events get mixed up and even forgotten until something triggers a memory. Since I interviewed Shailey earlier this year, we have corresponded regularly via email. I ask her questions about what went on between her and Todd, about the massage she gave Sarah and about the problems she is having now getting some of her property returned by the Anchorage Police Department. The more we discuss those events, the more she remembers and those memories trigger other memories. A lot of what Shailey went through during the years that she was being prostituted by Todd was very unpleasant. It’s human nature to try to block bad memories.

Shailey has been treated badly by the APD and the National Enquirer at the behest of the Palins. Please consider signing Shailey’s petition if you haven’t already.

A Diagnosis And Please Help My Dream Come True

I mentioned above that I had to take a break from blogging due to being busy with doctor appointments. Most of you know that I have been having problems with severe pain. I may finally have a diagnosis. I was told this week that I am most likely suffering from a condition called Dercum’s Disease. It is apparently a rare disorder that causes painful lumps of fat beneath the skin. For years I have felt these lumps but since I have always been plump I thought they were normal. They are not. The pain and stiffness I suffer from are related to those lumps pressing against nerves. There is no cure and not a lot of research being done but from the little information I can find I don’t think Dercum’s is fatal, just debilitating.

My dream is to be able to spend Christmas with my son’s family this year. My husband and I haven’t seen them in over a year and have never been with our 3 year old granddaughter at Christmas time. I know that my condition is only going to worsen as time goes on so I would like for us to be able to take a road trip to Texas while I am still able. I am hoping to raise the money for the trip, I figure we will need around $850.00 for both ways and spending 1 night in a motel each way since our journey will be over 1000 miles, by selling hubby’s ink pens. Rather than go through and address comments individually, I just addressed everything here.

Yes, at the end of the last post, I made a typo.

The typo was caused by my finishing the post around 1am. I meant Tripp, of course.

Several people posted about Tripp being balanced on top of someone’s knees in the first picture and think Tripp is on his back. Here are my thoughts about that picture. I think he is lying on his stomach on top of someone else’s stomach, propping himself up on his arms. I used to put my son on my belly like that a lot when he was a baby. If Tripp is on his back, balanced on someone’s knees, wouldn’t his head be angled back toward the knees of that person? Could those who think he is on his back, please explain how you think he is positioned? I also think his alertness and obvious engagement with his surroundings supports my theory that he is quite a bit older than 7 weeks in that picture.

Some of you are comparing Tripp and “airplane baby”. Truthfully, I don’t see an amazing resemblance but I do see some similarities.

Thanks, SarahLies, for finding that picture with 3 bottles. Very strange, as is the picture of Trig(?) in the chicken costume. With all the adorable Halloween costumes available, why a chicken?

Also, interesting is the comment about the TRIPP license plate being requested in March 2008.

However, I still find this picture of Tripp taken on July 25, 2009 to be the most important piece of the puzzle.

How can the face of this baby, in a picture taken on July 25, 2009, be so similar to the face of the baby in the picture below taken on or before February 15, 2009?

The chubby cheeks, the double chins and the wrinkled brows all look so similar in these two pictures. Do we ignore that Tripp looks a lot older than 7 weeks in the picture above and conclude that his appearance just didn’t change much during the 5 months between February and July of 2009?

This picture, while not from the same angle is from May 2009 and the plump cheeks and round chin do not seem to be present. I also don’t think a baby’s appearance is going to stay nearly the same for over five months. Babies change a lot in that period of time.

So as convoluted as it sounds my theory is that there are identical twin Tripps, that may or may not be part of a set of triplets that includes Trig. One Tripp was very sickly and took some time to catch up with his identical twin.

Why were pictures of the bigger Tripp shown on television? Probably a mix-up. I don’t think the Palins are the most organized people.

So everyone weigh in. Do you think my theory is possible? Why or why not? Also, if you have a theory about Tripp, Tripps, and Trig please share it.

Riddle Me This…

Below are some of the pictures of Tripp that were shown both at the beginning and during the Introducing Tripp interview that took place on February 15, 2009.

In this picture Tripp is on his stomach, holding his head up easily with no support. He is alert and smiling_.

In this picture, he appears to be sitting up and has good head control. He seems alert and interested in his surroundings.He also appears to have gained a good amount of weight judging by his round cheeks and double chin.

Here is a photo of Levi wearing what looks like a hospital ID bracelet holding a baby that I assume is the newborn Tripp. Compare these to the first two pictures which would have to have been taken over the following seven weeks.

What puzzles me about the first two pictures?

On February 15, 2009, when this interview was conducted, Tripp was less than two months old. From his reported birthdate of December 27, 2008, he would have been 50 days old or 7 weeks one day old.

I have been around many babies and those first two pictures appear to me to be of a baby much older than 7 weeks.

I think the first picture is compatible with a baby between 4 and 5 months of age and the second picture is compatible with a baby around 7 months old.

The second picture puzzles me greatly because there is a picture of Tripp when he was almost exactly 7 months old taken at the Governor’s Picnic on July 25, 2009. I put the second picture side by side with the picture from the picnic and they look very similar. Same furrowed brow, same chubby cheeks.

So how could pictures of Tripp looking older than his stated 7 weeks exist before February 15, 2009? And also, too, how is it possible for a picture of Tripp taken on July 25, 2009 when he was nearly 7 months old to look so nearly identical to a picture, where by all logic he would have to have been less than 7 weeks old.

Other than time travel, the only explanation that makes any sense is that Tripp and an identical twin were born way before December 27, 2008. The other twin was healthier and grew faster and those first two pictures are of that twin. Why were those pictures shown? Who knows? Where does Trig fit in this conundrum? There are cases where women have had triplets with a set of identical twins plus a singleton. Here is a thread where women in that exact situation are talking. I’m not saying that’s the case with Trig, Tripp and Tripptwin but never say never. Maybe the name Tripp came up when Bristol found she was carrying triplets.

Thoughts, please about how those pictures of an older Trig could exist in February 2009. That is what really wows me about this whole thing.

I don’t have time to reply to all the comments just now so I wanted to let everyone know that I did notice the ear and it does appear ruffled. I also have more observations but they will have to wait until tomorrow.

I will try to get some more screen grabs as they might yield better results when looking for good views of Tripp’s ears. In the stills, he could be positioned to hide his ears but they wouldn’t be able to hide them in videos.

My New Theory Regarding Trig and Tripp

Let me make this plain. What you are about to read is pure speculation.

I am aware that another blogger thinks that developing scenarios is useless and possibly detrimental to the efforts to expose Sarah Palin’s baby hoax.

I must respectfully disagree. I think that reviewing the information and formulating theories could play an important part in getting to the truth. If we stick to only discussing what is provable then I think the odds of ever breaking babygate plummet.

Babygate is like a criminal case and the further we get away from 2008, the less likely it becomes that the truth will ever be known. By digging and discussing even the wildest ideas, we keep Sarah Palin’s hoax from becoming a cold case. That is why I will keep going over and over the same pieces of the puzzle, trying different solutions and I hope all of you reading this will help me.

Feel free to add your own theories. Don’t hold back on your opinions about the theory below whether you agree or disagree. With several babygate blogs going on hiatus recently I think it’s important to keep the ones that are still active, alive and thriving. If we back down now, then Sarah wins. I still think it’s important for the truth to be revealed. I think it’s a mistake to relax and assume that Sarah is no longer a threat. Do we know for sure that the eventual GOP Presidential nominee won’t choose her for a running mate? Even if that doesn’t happen, we don’t know what she may do at some point down the road. I want this blog to be a community where any theory can be discussed. If anyone wants to do a guest post just email me. Let’s see what we can come up with working together!

I know it’s a little hard to judge from this picture but if you watch the video in full screen mode you can judge Tripp’s size better, especially in close-ups. Here is a link to the video.

According to CDC growth charts boy babies at the 97th percentile, which would be nearly the largest, are on average 69.48354 centimeters long. 69.48354 centimeters is equal to 27.35572 inches.

Looking at Tripp in Bristol’s arms, I believe he is much longer than just a tad over 27 inches. Bristol’s arm is supporting his neck but most of his head extends well beyond her elbow. His bottom sinks into the gap between her legs, shortening the length of his legs but his feet still hang off her leg a good bit. Imagine how long he would be if he were fully extended.

So if Tripp is much bigger than even the biggest four month olds what would account for that? In my opinion, Tripp must be older than four months.

So here’s my new theory. Bristol gave birth prematurely to fraternal twins in either late 2007 or early 2008. One twin had Down Syndrome, the other was very tiny. At first the Down Syndrome baby was called Tripp and the smaller baby was called Trig. When Sarah decided to fake a pregnancy and present the DS child as hers, she switched their names thus Trig was Tripp before he was Trig and vice-versa.

The baby in the April 18, 2008 pictures is the child known as Trig today. The baby in the May kitchen pictures and shower pictures often called Ruffles is Tripp. Tripp was used because Trig would no longer pass for a newborn much less a preemie. I don’t know why Tripp wasn’t used for the first pictures. Perhaps he was still too ill or maybe there was just a mix up and the wrong baby was photographed.

Tripp was seen for a few weeks until Trig’s size didn’t matter so much then he was kept hidden. When suspicions that Sarah had faked her pregnancy arose, Bristol was forced to follow in her mom’s footsteps and pretend to be pregnant, too. Tripp would be unveiled once Bristol “gave birth”.

Like mother, like daughter, Bristol didn’t do such a great job faking either. She stuffed paper towels in the pockets of her jacket to make her belly bulge and was caught running on ice when she was supposed to be near full term. I know there is also a video showing her running on the ice but I couldn’t locate it so if anyone has the link, please send it to me and I will add it to this post.

Tripp was still stashed away for awhile after his birth was announced so the fact that he wasn’t a newborn wouldn’t be so obvious but something is strange about the interview on Fox where he is introduced for the first time. They show pictures of Tripp at the beginning of the interview before they show Bristol and the baby live. However, the baby in the pictures looks older than the baby who Bristol is holding during the interview and Tripp is supposedly less than eight weeks old at the time. It’s hard to get a good look at the baby and I can’t help wondering if it’s really the same one that was in the pictures.

That interview with Greta Van Susteren is worth watching again however I am having trouble embedding the video or posting the link but if you go to www.rhrealitycheck.org, click on their youtube icon on the top right, enter Bristol Palin in the search box on their youtube channel, it’s the first video in the search results on the right.

That Tripp’s age hasn’t been questioned is beyond me but then the Palins are never questioned about anything, are they?

The Tripp we see in the picture below (not sure of the date but I think it’s spring of this year if anyone knows please comment or email me) looks tall enough to be over three years old. He seems to be leaning over and still looks taller than Trig. Preemies do catch up. My less than four lb. preemie son was normal height and weight by age three.

I think these two precious little boys who are presented to the world as uncle and nephew are really twin brothers.

That’s my take and as I said it’s all speculation but it would explain why Levi was said to have picked up a Tripp who was way older than three months from the Palin house in March 2009 and why it was said that Trig was Tripp before he was Trig.

For those who missed my earlier post, my husband and I have been invited to move in with our son’s family in Texas but we need money to rent a moving truck and car hauler plus buy gas and pay for one night in a motel as the move is about 1200 miles. This move is medically necessary as my condition is not going to improve according to what the doctors tell me and my hubby will need help caring for me.

Pens…

Several people have inquired about where they can view the pens that my husband made. The first bunch was purchased by a reader for $300.00. H/T to them!

He has been working on more and has a few ready. I was planning to post a picture of one of them Saturday but I had a bad night Friday and slept all day. I am going to try to post the picture later today and perhaps auction it from here.

All the pens are one of a kind, although some do resemble others and all are completely handmade. Most use reclaimed wood or other material left over from construction or remodeling.

Any proceeds from the sale of the pens goes to our moving fund. Our goal is $2000.00 so we can rent a Budget or other rental truck. So far we have $329.00.

It is 1:10am here on the east coast. I am going to bed and hope for a good night’s rest. Today is our wedding anniversary. We have been married 35 years.

Thoughts On All The Latest Palin Info UPDATE

Wow! There has been a lot of new information lately. I am really intrigued by Gryphen’s revelation that he was told of a much older Tripp. I need to look back at my post where I stated that Tripp seemed way too big for his purported age.

I know that the bots are boohooing that we should leave the Palins alone now. They are wallowing in their misery over Sarah’s decision not to run. I would love to feel that Sarah could be safely ignored but alas 2016 is not that far away and if we back away she may feel it’s safe to run. She will have her fans worked into a fevered frenzy by then most assuredly.

I have had to back away from this blog because of my health but I think we are getting so close now that I am going to return to my sleuthing so check back often.

Speaking of my health, my son wants my hubby and me to move in with his family so they can help look after me. He has fixed a room for us. The only thing holding us back is that we need a moving truck for the 1200 mile trip.

My hubby has 22 handcrafted ink pens up for auction on ebay to try to raise the money we need to move. He was totally new to pen turning when he made these pens and I think he did a wonderful job on them. This Just Griped My Grits!

I hadn’t planned on posting on my blog this soon as I haven’t felt well and have little energy but Nancy French’s blog post, which I found a link to on Shailey Tripp’s facebook page, irked me so much, I couldn’t resist.

French goes on and on about people who pretend to know the Palins but yet she made this glaring mistake in her blog post.

“I watched in amusement as Gov. Palin – the most controversial and famous politician in the nation – pumped her own gas, greeted the cashier cheerfully, and fussed over Trigg.”

This woman, who claims to have spent a month with the Palins can’t spell one of the children’s names right. I say one of the children because her post leaves me unclear which child she is making reference to, Trig or Tripp.

Considering the fact that the woman was the ghostwriter of a book in which she must have written the name of either child at least once, probably a lot more, one would think she would be aware of the correct spelling.

I wonder how much the Palins paid her for this sugar-coated fairy tale? In fact, I asked her that very question in the comments section of her blog. My remarks are still awaiting moderation, so we shall see if she allows it through or not but below is the comment I left, word for word.

“Kudos to you for getting to know the Palins so well. So well you can't spell the name of the child that Sarah fussed over. Would that child be Trig, note the one g, who has been presented as Sarah's son since 4-18-08 OR would that be Tripp, the supposed son of the woman you were ghostwriting the book for. If this is any example of the accuracy of the information that you were provided there's little wonder at the reason that Bristol's book is filled with hogwash and vitriol aimed at Levi Johnston.

By the way, just how much did the Palins pay you for witing this fairy tale piece about living with them?”

I decided to check before publishing this post to see if my comment had been allowed through. It’s still awaiting moderation but I read the blog post aloud to my husband who was wondering what had inspired me to do a blog post tonight. In the middle of reading it, I caught another big goof. Nancy French wrote that Joe McGinniss bought the house next door to the Palins. I couldn’t resist leaving this comment.

“Oh, also, too, Joe McGinniss didn’t buy the house next door he only rented it. Did that information about him buying it come from the Palins?”

I Will Be Back…

I apologize for my extremely long absence. I have a lot of things going on right now, mainly medical appointments. I have been in pain management since June but the magic combination hasn’t been prescribed yet. If I get pain relief, I am so sleepy that I am actually a danger to myself. I fall asleep while doing most anything. When they cut back on the meds, (actually I think they are decreasing the wrong drug) then I am in so much pain I am incapable of doing much of anything. I have another appointment tomorrow and hopefully this time I will get the lucky combo.

Anyway, I will be posting again soon and I am always lurking around the other anti-Palin blogs. Keep checking back and I look forward to stirring the pot again soon.

Is This Picture Really Trig? Correction Update

Just wanted to add that the person who sent me this composite said that the guy pictured kissing the baby in the leftmost picture on the bottom row is Track. Has anyone seen this pic of Track with the baby outside of this composite?

My apologies to the person who sent me these pictures. I realized after going back and re-reading the email that I took the statement that the bottom left picture was Track the wrong way. The person did say it was Sarah just zoomed in on Track. To me, the person kissing the baby looks like a male so I assumed that was Track and the baby was Trig.

I have often thought that Sarah has some masculine features but in that picture on the bottom left she really does look like a man and there is some discoloration around the chin and upper lip area that I perceived as beard. Sorry if my statement above has caused readers any confusion.

A reader sent two pictures to me. One is a composite of pictures of Ruffles/Trig. The reader thinks that it consistently shows one baby being presented as Trig. The other is a screenshot from Bristol’s facebook page which was sent as proof that the picture I question being Trig is really him.

I am also posting the most recent picture that I have seen of the boy that has been presented as Trig for some time now. It is the picture of him with Tripp.

After you look at the pictures, please post whether you think the boy pictured in the top row, far right in the composite is the same boy seen with Tripp. My opinion is that they are two different children. The boy in the composite, in my opinion, doesn’t look to have Down Syndrome. His face looks thinner as well as his neck. Also, feel free to comment on whether you think the babies pictured are all the same baby. I don’t think so.

If the child isn’t the Trig pictured with Tripp, who could he be? Ruffles maybe?

Safe After Irene–New Palin Related Post Coming Soon

The Day Before Sarah Palin Announced Her Pregnancy She Stated The Opposite On These Forms UPDATE

Several people have pointed out that Palin was not in Alaska at the time indicated on the forms. Yes, I was aware that was supposedly the time period when she was returning from the conference in Los Angeles. However, we have to remember where the information about her schedule came from. There have been enough discrepancies in the past that I am not convinced that she wasn’t in Alaska in time to get that massage. If anyone has proof of Sarah Palin’s whereabouts on March 4, 2008 feel free to post or email me the information.

Observation: Think about this. Since this whole thing started nearly three years ago, one thing that never made sense were the pictures showing the ever-changing size of Sarah Palin’s supposedly pregnant belly.

We have collectively viewed thousands of pictures of her “gestation” that showed an unnatural pregnancy progression that appeared to go forward, reverse and forward again.

We all wondered why did this woman who was trying to fake a pregnancy not do a more convincing job. She was not a woman without the means to afford a decent empathy belly yet she was seen wearing long scarves over her clothes and heavy winter coats indoors at functions where they were inappropriate.

At first the coats and scarves were said to have been to disguise her pregnancy. Good excuse for that purpose but then why did they continue to show up after she announced her pregnancy.

I think the Lipodissolve injections mentioned on the forms below offer a plausible explanation. Sarah Palin was suffering from a sore abdomen due to the series of Lipodissolve injections she was receiving.

According to my source, who emailed me today, Sarah was scheduled for more injections. The clinician who administered the injections suggested she get the massage to help move things along as well as alleviate some of her pain before she received the next shot.

Sarah had a good quality empathy belly that she proudly showed off in the Gusty photos and a few other occasions when she wasn’t too sore to wear it. Other times she relied on flowing scarves and outer wear to appear pregnant but she failed miserably. Thank goodness for that failure that showed her fakery to those with their eyes open.

First, I apologize for my absence. It was not my intention to be away for so long but I have been ill with Strep Throat. I’m still not back to normal but I am feeling better.

So let’s get to it.

After retrieving the forms from my closet and finding that there wasn’t much redacting needed, I decided to go ahead and scan them.

I will be honest. I have only been online for a few minutes here and there over the past week. The information I am sharing could be old news by now or completely irrelevant due to other events re: the Palins. I haven’t had a chance to read the other blogs and knew if I started on them I would never get this post up today so I decided to write first and catch up on my reading later. I hope I am not singing an old song, so to speak.

Because I am not sure if the information on the scans of the forms will be easy to view, I will share what is written in on each form.

On the SOAP Notes, the client name is Sarah Palin. The date is not noted on this form but the time is 1:15 pm and the length of session is 50 minutes.

S Not able to relax, chronic pain in neck &abs,

O Pt is stiff, not able to touch toes, tender in abs, indicates not pregnant or urinary tract infection. Did receive stomach injections recently for weight loss.

A Firm & gentle pressures – scalenes (not legible to me) very sore.

P recommend see doc for ab pain & see Dr. M?????? for chiropractor eval.

Note: 10 min. heat treatment

PATIENT PROGRESS AND TREATMENT RECORDS has the name Palin, Sarah. The date column shows 3/4 with no year noted. Under the day column, the time is 1:16 pm. A “T” beneath the time indicates the day of the week. In 2008, March 4 fell on a Tuesday.

The notes are as follows:

Pt. complained of on going neck pain & ab pain. LPN Mercier recommended massage for stretching & relaxation. Pt very stiff, indicated received lipodissolve a few weeks ago – sore abs. Not relaxed during massage & not respond well to med or firm pressure. Liked heat therapy – 10 mins app. *Part of what follows is not entirely legible to me. I can make out Mercier and another name followed by (Leeanne’s pt.)

Body Map lists the client as Sarah Palin. The date is blank.

Observations/Recommendations: Not able to relax, sore stomach, sore neck, can not touch toes – indicates not prg – no surgeries in last 3 yrs.

Range of Motion: 80% Pain Threshold: Low is checked.

Client Preferences: lighter touch – kneading.

Contraindications: on blood pressure meds – not sure for high/low*

Indications: Neck shoulder stiff – feels like “whiplash” –

The rest of the line is a bit illegible again. I can read Dr. M????? & LPN Mercier and under their names it says something that could be cautious w/pt, continue w/pt or something else. I can’t be sure. There are areas circled on the body map. Some areas of the shoulder and neck are noted *very sore. Rectus abdominis is noted tender & told pt to see Doctor. (Doctor underlined for emphasis). There is something written at the bottom. I think I make out FB* & ABS but I can’t make the last part out. If the scans are clear enough, please feel free to take a crack at deciphering anything that I couldn’t.

So there you have it. I have freely shared what I was sent. If Sarah Palin had lipodissolve injections that could explain the pictures with what looks like pads or bandages under her clothes.

Sarah Palin’s Got Friends In Low…Uh… High Places

I’ve been reading all the discussions on Laura Novak’s blog of late. One thing that posters mention frequently is that Trig and Tripp’s birth certificates had to be supplied in order for them to receive payment from the Alaska Permanent Fund.

Also, frequently mentioned is that Tripp’s birthdate of December 27, 2008 is in the court records for the custody/child support case so it must be true.

I think everyone needs to keep in mind that Sarah had, and in fact still has, friends in positions of power in the state government of Alaska. Friends who could arrange for Trig and Tripp to receive their Alaska PFD checks even though their birth certificates weren’t furnished as required.

And who knows whether or not the court asked for Tripp’s birth certificate? I have no first-hand knowledge of child custody cases but even if birth certificates are usually submitted we have to remember who we’re talking about. It’s very possible the court took Bristol’s word on Tripp’s date of birth since Levi obviously didn’t dispute it.

I’m sure that both kids do have birth certificates but I don’t believe the information on them matches what the public has been told. Sarah’s buddies will protect and defend her to the end.

Apology For My Long Absence

I am sorry for not posting more frequently, but as the saying goes “sometime life gets in the way”.

I have started pain management, which so far has not gotten my pain under control. I will be having an MRI soon which, hopefully, will identify the cause of my pain.

I am being treated with Opana ER which is a good medicine. I think it will work for me once the proper dose is determined. I am still on the Lortab for breakthrough pain and the Gabapentin for the nerve pain.

I am working on a post but I’m not sure when it will go live. It seems like either my husband or I have a doctor’s appointment every day. That is only a slight exaggeration. Hopefully things will settle down soon.

Keep checking back. Something interesting should be up one day this coming week.

Challenge! Spot All The Different Trigs

I have been looking at the photos of Trig available at Getty Images. I can’t post the pictures from there due to copyright laws but I saw several different babies being presented as Trig.

The pictures I would like everyone to look at are the ones from the campaign dated from August 29 through October of 2008.

I saw size discrepancies and hair discrepancies on the same day. There are photos of a baby that doesn’t even look to be a baby with Down Syndrome. There are photos of a baby that appears swollen like the baby in this picture. There is a picture of a baby that could be a doll.

Notice that Bristol is only seen holding the baby in the tan overalls and the baby wearing the dark brown shirt. At least those are all I can find. I believe them to be the same baby based on size. I can’t find a picture showing the face of the baby wearing the tan overalls.

So, I challenge everyone to study those pictures and post a comment stating how many different Trigs you can spot. Please describe the pictures and how the babies differ. If we get a lot of posters pointing out the same babies as being different, I am going to ask Laura Novak and Dr. Brad Scharlott to take a look and perhaps they will ask the opinions of one of their experts.

Angry Bristol? Open Thread

What a week! From the intriguing posts on Laura Novak’s blog to the much anticipated release of Sarah Palin’s emails, there is so much new and old material to review. I have literally spent the better part of the last two days engrossed in reading comments on Ms. Novak’s blog and perusing the emails available online.

This picture of Bristol and Trig, taken during McCain’s announcement of Sarah as his running mate on August 29, 2008, was linked to in the comments on Laura Novak’s blog. It was part of a composite comparison of Trig’s ear.

To me, Bristol seems angry. At who? Willow is seated on Bristol’s right, wearing red. Bristol’s anger appears to be directed at someone standing on the other side of Willow, judging by the angle of her gaze.

And who or what is she pointing at to her left. I don’t know the identity of the person sitting directly to her left but I don’t think she is pointing at that person. It looks like she might be pointing at someone or something to her left but also behind her.

Another thing that strikes me about this photo is her white-knuckled grasp of Trig. A mother’s protective hold?

The Bristol we see today seems far less mature than the Bristol we see in this picture.

Is Sarah Palin Another Mommie Dearest? REPOST

I had planned another post re-examining some of the pictures of a supposedly pregnant Sarah but decided to repost this in light of this week’s bus tour and Sarah’s treatment of Piper.

Mommie Dearest is a well-known book which was also made into a movie about the actress Joan Crawford.

Christina Crawford, one of Joan’s children, claims that she was abused during Joan’s bout with alcoholism. She also claims her mother was more concerned about her motion picture career than the well-being of her four adopted children and that they may have been adopted for the publicity.

The above paragraph could be a description of Sarah Palin with just a few changes in the wording. It might read something like this.

Piper Palin, one of Sarah’s children, claims that she was abused during Sarah’s bout with alcoholism and/or drug addiction. She also claims her mother was more concerned about her political career than the well-being of her four natural children and that she faked a pregnancy and adopted her oldest daughter Bristol’s son Trig, who has Down Syndrome for the publicity.

It has been suggested that Joan Crawford suffered from Borderline Personality Disorder so I decided to do some research to determine if Sarah Palin might also have this disorder. The next paragraph is from a blog written by a child of a woman who has BPD.

My mother was always on a crusade. She will go after someone and keep on going until she has achieved her goal. Whether the crusade was having my 3rd grade teacher fired or the Dean of her university removed, my mother would spend countless hours scheming, planning, and going after their head. She will also occupy her time & thoughts with conspiracy theories: she believes my grandfather was murdered, and she thinks her mother-in-law was poisoned.

Sounds a lot like Sarah to me as does the following passage from another blog.

Christine Lawson in her book, Understanding The Borderline Mother, writes,

" Trust is a major issue between borderlines and their children. Children cannot trust the borderline mother for many reasons: (1) She is manipulative. (2) She distorts the truth and may even blatantly lie. (3) She may physically harm them. (4) She is unpredictable. (5) She overreacts. (6) She is impulsive. (7) She has poor judgment. (8) She has unreliable memory. (9) She is inconsistent. (10) She is intrusive. Like Alice who confided in the Cheshire Cat, children of borderlines may learn to trust a pet more than their own mother." p. 8

We have all seen evidence of Sarah exhibiting all of the above except for number 3. While I have never seen any evidence of Sarah physically abusing any of her children there are plenty of instances where she has been negligent such as endangering them by not making sure they wear seat belts while in moving vehicles.

There are distinct sub-types among people with Borderline Personality Disorder. I think Sarah Palin falls into two of the sub-types; the witch and the queen. You can read more here. The posts on the subject are in reverse order so you will need to go backwards through them to read about the witch and the queen. It’s very interesting and worth the time it takes.

I have said before that Sarah seems to have a Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Google the terms borderline personality disorder and narcissistic personality disorder and you will note there are many similarities between the two and Sarah seems to have characteristics of both.

For her children’s sake I hope she gets help before it’s too late but I have a feeling one day we’ll be reading the tell-all book by one of the Palin kids.

Re-examining Photos

Today, I begin a series of posts taking another look at some pictures of Sarah Palin while she was supposedly pregnant in 2008.

The first photo I want to look at is this one. You can click to enlarge.

This picture was taken mid-February per the information beneath the photo on Governor Palin’s official website.

Mid-February would put Sarah at 6 months pregnant since she said Trig was due on May 18.

Does the woman pictured show any signs of being 2/3rd’s of the way through a pregnancy?

Note her attire, paying particular attention to her mid-section. Her jacket is so loose that the extra fabric gathers on her lap.There is no evidence of a baby bump. If she were pregnant the roundness of her abdomen would smooth the material out. It would not cause it too hang loosely.

Sarah is wearing boots that obviously have high heels. Impractical for a pregnant woman at best and impossible at the worst. Most women who are six months pregnant would not wear high heel boots, even if they could.

Is this photograph proof that Sarah faked her pregnancy with Trig? No.

Does it raise a heap of suspicion? Yes.

I apologize for the lack of posts recently but my personal life is very hectic right now. My husband is having two cataract surgeries over the next month or so and we have to go out of town for him to have them done. Add to that, my own medical appointments, and we are always on the go.

Listen Up, Poor People! Sarah Palin Is Not Your Friend.

Recent polls show that Sarah Palin appeals to lower income Republicans and those without a college degree. They say they can relate to her and that she seems real.

Boy, is she pulling the wool over their eyes!

Now hear this, Palin fans! Yes, she will look you in the eye, shake hands with you, talk with you and seem so sincere.

It’s all an act. She wants you to think she is just an average American. Ask yourself these questions and then ask yourself again if she is really an average American.

Does the average American make over 12 million dollars a year?
Does the average American star in a reality television show?
Does the average American travel all over the U.S.A. and overseas?

Sarah Palin is not who you think she is. She will not be an advocate for the poor should she be elected President. Wise up and do not support the phony baloney.

I was also diagnosed with hypothyroidism and have to start levothyroxine tomorrow morning.

A Tale of Two Pregnancies

My Pregnancy: A True Story

February 1979: My husband and I had been trying to conceive a child for three years with no results. We scheduled an appointment with a fertility specialist. All of our tests came back normal. The doctor suggested fertility drugs might do the trick so I began taking Clomid.

March 1979: My period was late but that wasn’t unusual. Still we crossed our fingers as we performed one of those new-fangled home pregnancy tests. We were so disappointed when no ring formed in the bottom of the test tube. I took the Clomid again.

April 1979: Another pregnancy test. Same result. I went to the doctor and had a test just in case the EPT was wrong. Clomid again.

May 1979: My husband lost his job and we had to move in with his family. We lost our health insurance and couldn’t afford the Clomid. We still hoped I might get pregnant but the environment we were living in wasn’t exactly conducive.

June 1979: My husband got a temporary job, leaving me to spend the days with his parents who didn’t like me. I was my husband’s second wife and they had objected to his divorce. I didn’t break up his marriage but my in-laws acted as if I had. My mother-in'-law was aware that we were trying to get pregnant and couldn’t hide her glee when she spotted the proof that we had failed again in the trash.

July 1979: The middle of the month I began spotting. My mother-in-law knew and I could tell she was happy. I was also having severe cramps. Much worse than usual. My husband finally took me to their family doctor even though we had to dip into the money we were saving to get our own place. After he examined me, he told me I had a urinary tract infection. He also told me that I either had a tumor or I was pregnant. He said he’d bet a dollar to a doughnut that I was pregnant. My husband and I were ecstatic when the doctor called the next day and said that he had won the bet. My in-laws reacted coldly to the news. I tried to stay out of their way while my husband worked. My husband got me a Dachshund puppy to keep me company. We named him Scooter which soon got shortened to Cooter.

August 1979: I had my first pre-natal visit at a large hospital in the area. My husband and I were shocked to learn that I was nearly four months pregnant. Evidently the Clomid had worked and all the tests had been wrong. I was scared that something might be wrong with the baby because I had experienced bleeding throughout the months I hadn’t known I was pregnant but thankfully everything appeared to be okay. I had always been on the chubby side so even though my clothes had been getting tighter, I never thought that I might be expecting because of all the negative tests and because I had my periods. I thought the weight gain was because I ate a lot of junk food while my husband was working.

September 1979: I really started to look pregnant. I could no longer wear my regular tops. Most of my pants still fit because I always wore them loose. My in-laws weren’t happy that I was expecting their first grandchild and they pretty much shunned me. I would have gone nuts if I hadn’t had Cooter to keep me company while my husband worked. The dog would lie on the bed with his head on my belly. I think he could hear the baby’s heartbeat.

October 1979: My pregnancy was still progressing normally. I craved cheeseburgers with pickles, mustard and ketchup and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Cooter loved to ride with my husband and I in the car. All we had to do was call Coot-a-loot-a-looter and he would come running, his belly dragging the ground. My husband got an old Dodge Pick-Up truck when our car broke down and Cooter hated it. He would hide from us when we called him to go for a ride in it. My husband’s temporary job ended and we decided to go stay with my parents until the baby was born. I can’t say I was unhappy to leave my in-laws home.

November 1979: We suffered two losses that month. First, my great-aunt died. I was very close to her. She was like a Grandmother to me. A week after her funeral, my husband let Cooter out to do his business. I wasn’t feeling well and was in bed. My husband came in the bedroom and sat beside of me while he waited for the dog to come to the door. We heard a thud from outside and my husband jumped up and said he’d be back in a minute. My parents still lived in the house where I grew up. It was on a quiet country road. I’d had many pets as a child and none of them had ever been run over. Cooter wasn’t as lucky. My husband didn’t want to tell me what had happened for fear I might go into labor. We buried Cooter behind the house. He was the last dog I ever formed a bond with. I’ve been close to a few cats since but no other dog has ever captured my heart.

December 1979: I experienced some pains the 7th of December. I was worried sick. I called my husband at his new job. He rushed home and took me to the hospital. It was false labor. I asked how big the baby was and the doctor said about four pounds. My due date was still over five weeks away. The doctor said everything looked good and told me to go home and take it easy. About 2am on the 10th, I awoke lying in a pool of water. I had no pains of any kind but I knew my water had broken and I remembered what the doctor had told me. If your water breaks or even leaks come straight to the hospital because both you and your baby are at great risk of infection. We got in the truck and drove the 25 miles to the hospital. It was freezing cold and the truck had no heat. I was scared to death that the baby might be born a month early. I prayed he or she would be okay all the way to the hospital. I was admitted as soon as we got to the ER. When my labor hadn’t begun by morning, a Pitocin drip was started. I was in hard labor for hours but never dilated enough to deliver. Finally, the decision was made to do a C- Section. My son arrived at 3:48am on December 11th. He weighed 3 pounds, 14 ounces and was 17 inches long. He had a heart murmur, jaundice and pneumonia. The doctors gave him a 50/50 chance of surviving. He spent two weeks in the NICU and we finally got to take him home on Christmas morning. That was the best Christmas ever.

Conclusion: Even though it has been over 31 years since my pregnancy, I remember the whole experience as if it were yesterday. Some things are just unforgettable.

Sarah Palin’s 2007 -2008 Pregnancy: A Tall Tale

Fall 2007: Sarah Palin experienced some familiar symptoms that made her suspect that she was pregnant. As Governor of Alaska she didn’t want to purchase a pregnancy test at a local drug store so she waited to buy one until she was in another state where she was virtually unknown. When the test confirmed her suspicions, Sarah even considered having an abortion since she was away from home and no one would ever know.

Sarah didn’t want to break the news to Todd over the telephone. However, when she returned home he was away. Due to both of their busy schedules, they kept missing each other, so it was a few weeks before they were in the same room and she told him she was pregnant. Todd was thrilled.

Winter 2007 – 2008: When Sarah was 12 weeks along she paid a visit to her doctor, Cathy Baldwin-Johnson who informed Sarah that due to her age, 43, there was about a 1 in 80 chance of the baby having Down Syndrome. Sarah wasn’t worried. She was healthy, all of her children were healthy but CBJ as the Palin’s called the doctor wanted Sarah to have an ultrasound.

Across the hall, the technician, a jovial older lady prepped Sarah and performed the test. They joked with each other as the wand traveled across Sarah’s abdomen. When the technician grew a bit quieter, Sarah flashed back to an earlier ultrasound when she had learned she had suffered a miscarriage.

Then the technician grinned and told Sarah that she saw boy parts and asked if that would be good. Sarah told the woman that would be perfect and thought how wonderful God is and how he knew best.

Still the woman kept passing the transducer over Sarah’s belly. It seemed to be taking a long time. Finally the technician said she wasn’t sure the baby was a boy. It might be a girl.It was taking so long Sarah no longer cared if the baby was a boy or a girl. A healthy girl would be wonderful. She just wanted the technician to tell her everything was fine. Then the woman said the baby’s neck was a little thicker than normal.

Sarah first thought about how amazing it was that they could measure the neck at only 12 weeks along. Then she remembered that she had heard somewhere that a thick neck was a sign of Down Syndrome. She knew a moment of fear but then was comforted by the thought that God wouldn’t give her anything she couldn’t handle. And she didn’t think she could handle that.

She was busy. Always on the go. She always talked about how lucky she was that all her kids were healthy, self-sufficient overachievers. She had a difficult job and other children who needed her. She couldn’t fathom how she could add a special-needs baby to the mix and make it all work. Unless God knows me better than I know myself she thought, He won’t send me a special-needs baby.

The next day Sarah received a call from CBJ. The ultrasound pictures combined with her age meant there was a 1 in 12 chance the baby would be born with Down Syndrome. Well, she thought, that means there’s still a 90 percent chance everything will be okay.

CBJ wanted Sarah to see a doctor in Anchorage. A geneticist. She also offered an amniocentesis. Sarah had always refused amnios before since she was positive she would never have an abortion. This time she decided to have the test. She needed to know so she could prepare. Sarah visited the geneticist alone since Todd was out of town the day of the appointment. She entered the office through the back door and used her maiden name. Sarah was very scared. Three days later CBJ called Sarah at her office in Anchorage. It was 2:22pm. The time was still stuck in her head. The amnio results were in and CBJ wanted Sarah to come to her office.

But Sarah wanted the results over the phone. Maybe if I am strong, she thought, God will reward me with good news.CBJ was reluctant and tried to convince Sarah to come to her office. Again Sarah refused. She was busy. Whatever the results were it would be okay. Just tell me, she told CBJ. The doctor then told Sarah the baby would be born with Down Syndrome. Sarah told CBJ she was coming to Wasilla and hung up the phone.

Sarah was shocked. How could God do this. Her sister had a special-needs kid. Wasn’t one in the family enough. She gritted her teeth all the way to Wasilla refusing to cry. Her eyes stayed dry as she sped toward Wasilla with her mind

Maybe it’s a mistake. Maybe the results got switched with someone else’s. Maybe the test is wrong. Are you listening, God? But it wasn’t a mistake. When she got to the office, CBJ showed her the pictures. There was an extra copy of chromosome 21.

CBJ told Sarah it was a boy. Sarah thanked God for that. It gave her a warm feeling. The doctor left the room and returned with a pamphlet for parents expecting a Down Syndrome child. Sarah didn’t open it. She wasn’t ready. She wasn’t the one to handle this. Her sisters were. She didn’t know if she had the love and compassion needed to raise a child that society would view as less than perfect. She wondered if she should be ashamed for thinking such things.

Todd finally got home a few days later. He was on the bed still wearing his winter coat when Sarah handed him the pictures and she finally broke down. Between sobs, she told him it was definitely a boy.He looked up at her with tears in his eyes and told her that was great and that God knew what he was doing.

Sarah stood beside the bed and blurted out the news that the baby had Down Syndrome. Todd was quiet. He just flipped through the pictures over and over as if he were searching for answers. Finally, Sarah sat down beside him. He didn’t react so she asked him what he thought.

He asked if they were sure and how they knew. She told him they were sure because there was an extra chromosome. Todd put the pictures aside. He looked at Sarah and told her he was happy and sad. Sarah thought it was perfect the way he put it because that’s the way it was and she felt the same way. Todd said it would be okay. Sarah asked him if he wondered why them like she did. Todd seemed surprised by the question and asked why not them.

From then on Todd never seemed to worry about it. He often wondered aloud about what kind of things the coming child would be interested in. He would ask people with special-needs children what their kid liked to do and if they played sports. Todd was more optimistic and accepting of the situation than Sarah who was still struggling to come to terms with the reality. They didn’t share the pregnancy with anyone. Not even their children.

Sarah wasn’t ready to deal with this yet or answer questions. She had always faced challenges head-on but this was different so she stayed silent. She began writing a letter to family and friends explaining not only the challenges but the joy this baby would bring to their lives.

Sarah wrote the letter in the voice of the baby’s Creator. She thought the letter was the best way to share the news with family and friends not knowing it would be used by a hostile journalist during the Vice Presidential campaign to mock her family and Christianity by saying that she was so self-absorbed that she wrote a letter as if she were speaking for God.

Soon Sarah was 7 months along. She hadn’t gained much weight and by wearing winter clothes and cleverly draped scarves she was able to hide the pregnancy. No one saw how big she was or suspected she was expecting. But a blazer was getting tight and Willow, her 2nd oldest daughter remarked that she was porking up. Sarah shushed her and said pass the Häagen-Dazs. Chocolate, with peanut butter.

She hadn’t finished the letter but she and Todd decided to share the news that she was pregnant with family and a few close friends. Their kids were ecstatic.

Soon after the Palin’s decided to make their news public. Sarah invited 3 reporters to come over. She could have just made a matter of fact announcement but decided to play a little game.

First she told them the first family was expanding. No reaction.She decided to put it another way.She asked the reporters if they remembered her promise to deliver for Alaska.They still didn’t have a clue but they readied their pens and notebooks for the big scoop that was obviously coming.

Finally, Sarah decided to can the jokes and just blurt out the news.She told them she was pregnant and due in two months.

Three chins dropped and three pairs of astonished eyes gazed at Sarah’s mid-section. She laughed as the three reporters pulled out their phones. Sarah waved goodbye and left the room. Within ten minutes Sarah’s announcement was all over the news.

Spring 2008: Todd and Sarah checked into a Dallas hotel the following month. Sarah was scheduled to speak at a conference the next day. She was due in 5 weeks but the pregnancy was progressing well. However, the next morning a strange sensation in her lower stomach awoke Sarah at 4am. She sat straight up in the bed. No, she thought. It’s too soon. A few minutes later she shook Todd awake and told him something was happening. He sat up in bed, wide awake. He said he was calling CBJ.

Sarah told him not to since it was 1am in Alaska. She didn’t want to call anyone right then. She wanted to wait a bit and see if the baby was really on the way. She also wanted to pray and asked God silently but with great emotion to please let it all be okay. Sarah was fraught with despair for the baby. Please keep this baby safe. She realized, despite all her doubts and fears during this pregnancy, how much she loved her baby. God, please protect the baby. It would be such a tragedy to lose the baby now. God knew what He was doing.

Despite Sarah’s objections, Todd called CBJ. Sarah told the doctor that she felt fine. She absolutely didn’t want to cancel her speech and let people down. They agreed she would take it easy, make her speech and then catch an earlier flight back to Alaska. There was plenty of time.

Later that afternoon Sarah delivered her speech and received a standing ovation. She handed the microphone to her co-host Governor Rick Perry of Texas and left the stage. Rick Perry chuckled over the sound system. “Hey, we're not finished with the program! I know you're pregnant,” Rick said, joking into the microphone. “But don't tell me you're going off to have the baby right now!”

The audience laughed as Sarah smiled and waved goodbye. Little did they know, she thought. Sarah met Todd at the exit. He said that even though he loved the state they couldn’t have a fish picker born in Texas. They had a quite, relatively peaceful flight home.

Many hours later with Todd and their daughters nearby Sarah delivered Trig Paxson Van Palin. She was overwhelmed with love when the nurse placed the baby in her arms and she knew God had answered her prayers.

Sarah was glad God had let Trig join them early. They were so anxious to see him. Sarah hadn’t known how Trig would look or how she would feel but when she saw the baby she felt true joy. God had made Trig perfect even though he was different.

Conclusion: The above is a paraphrasing of an excerpt from Going Rogue. Although it isn’t word for word as written in the book, it is an accurate version of the events as Sarah described them in the book. Funny that it differs a bit from The Wild Ride. Even odder is that Sarah can no longer remember that Trig was born at Mat-Su Regional Hospital and how far along she was when she delivered Trig. There has to be a good explanation for your forgetting details that most women remember forever, right Sarah? My guess is that you can’t remember the details because none of it ever happened.

Additional information and observations: None of the pictures used in telling the story of my pregnancy are personal. They were all obtained from the internet but they are accurate representations.

The pictures used in telling the tale of Sarah’s non-pregnancy are a mix of actual internet photos of Palin and family and photos from the internet that represent situations she said occurred during her pregnancy.

Notice the striking difference between the baby representing my newborn son in the NICU and Trig Palin. Both supposedly 5 weeks early. Strange. Very strange.

Square Pad Mystery Solved?

This picture of Sarah Palin, often referred to as “The Nail In The Coffin” photo because it shows Sarah with a flat belly on March 26, 2008 has been the subject of much speculation. Her flat stomach is one reason this photo is an important piece of evidence in proving that she was not pregnant with Trig. Another aspect of the picture that is often discussed is that there appears to be a square pad under her shirt.

To my eye, the pad looks like it might be a 4x4 gauze pad. What would necessitate Sarah needing such a pad?

I have heard that Sarah had LipoDissolve injections in early 2008..You can read more about the procedure here and here. The second link shows a video of a woman getting the injections.

I don’t know if a dressing is used after the procedure but considering the multiple injections given, it’s a possibility.

One thing is for sure, though. These injections are not given to pregnant women.

I think the points made that she is going to run for President are valid. I know there are many who think she won’t run because she isn’t a viable candidate.

Since when did not being a viable candidate stop Sarah from running for anything?

One could argue that she wasn’t a viable candidate for Governor of Alaska. She was young. She was female. She had young children.

We all know what happened when she ran for that office.

We can’t be sure that she won’t win the GOP nomination and we can’t be sure that she won’t win the Presidential election.

Elections have been bought before and who’s to say that will not happen again.

This was brought home to me the other day.

My husband was talking on the phone with one of his uncles. This uncle is in his early sixties and has never voted. Nor has his wife or their three children who all are of voting age.

This uncle, who is very poor, said that his sister who is a well-to-do Republican told him that if he, his wife and their three children will register and vote Republican in the elections next year she will give them $500.00 each.

Now imagine the same thing happening all over the country. Republicans offering money or other bribes to friends, relatives, even strangers to coerce them to vote GOP.

We must take action NOW!

Sarah Palin - Daddy’s Little Girl

It seems to me that Sarah Palin holds her father, Chuck Heath in great esteem. He is her advisor, her protector and all-around pal. To Sarah, her daddy is “Superman”.

So how does this affect her marriage?

I think she puts Todd down and tells him that he’ll never be the man her father is. So Todd tries to prove himself to Sarah by defending her overzealously in confrontations like this one.

After the news of Todd Palin’s involvement with Shailey Tripp broke, I read comments that were questioning why Todd would become involved with someone like Shailey when he had Sarah at home. There were rude remarks about Shailey’s weight.

I think Todd was looking for someone who he thought would be flattered by his attention. He wanted reassurance that he was good looking and a good lover. He wanted to be someone’s “Superman”.

I think he picked the wrong woman.

Pondering Sarah Palin’s Pregnancies: UPDATE

After reading comments, I realized that I might not have made my point clear. I am not doubting that Sarah conceived three times in a relatively short period of time.

My thought is that being very fertile might run in the family and that Bristol could have easily had two babies in 2008.

Even if Trig was born on April 18, a very fertile Bristol could have conceived again quickly. If she conceived TrIpp toward the end of May, she could have delivered him prematurely at 7 months gestation near the end of December.

I’ve always thought it strange that Tripp, the proof that Bristol wasn’t Trig’s mother, wasn’t seen publicly until February 2009. Maybe he was too tiny or maybe he wasn’t born when they said.

Recently, I have been thinking a lot about Sarah Palin’s earlier pregnancies. Sarah gave birth for the first time (as far as we know) on April 20, 1989 to Track.

He was conceived around July 22-29,1988.

From Sarah’s own words we know that Track was full term.

But none of my babies had been early and being my fifth child I know what labor feels like (laughing) and if I had felt at all that I was really engaged in uh, labor activities I would not have desired to fly and, um, get back uh, to deliver in Alaska.

We also know from Sarah’s own words that she and Todd wanted another baby right away.

In her book Going Rogue, Sarah Palin wrote:

Just before Track was born, Todd and I moved to a small apartment in Wasilla, next door to our good friend Curtis Menard, Jr., who by now was a dentist like his dad. Curtis was like a brother to me. We asked him to be Track's godfather. Todd and I shared one car, and we loved our little life together, though with the Slope and fishing schedule we still didn't see each other very much. We desperately wanted another baby right away, so I was excited when I learned I was pregnant again. We were sure it was another boy, and we decided to call him Tad, a combination of Todd and Track.

I loved the fact we had planned so well and that events were falling neatly into place in our well-ordered lives. Our babies would be a year apart, right on schedule. At the beginning of my second trimester, I went in for my monthly exam. Todd was on the Slope. He had always been good about leaving me short love notes before he left, but as I drove to the doctor's office, his latest played in my head because it had a special addendum: "I love you, Tad!"

At my exam, the doctor listened for the baby's heartbeat. When she didn't smile, I didn't worry; she was known for her mellow demeanor. But I noticed that she kept moving the stethoscope around. And she didn't hand it to me as doctors usually do, so the expectant mother can listen to the sound of life.

Let's do a quick sonogram," she said.

I agreed, eager to confirm that Tad was a boy - or to be surprised.

We moved to another room, and I lay down on a sheet-covered table. The doctor spread gel on my belly and began sliding the transducer back and forth. I waited for the familiar Shoosh-shoosh-shoosh sound of the baby's beating heart.

But it didn't come. And the sonogram picture looked empty.

The doctor said coldly, "There's nothing alive in there.”

Her bluntness shocked me. I felt sick and hollow, and burst into tears.

"You have a couple of choices about getting rid of it," she said. "It." That's what she called our baby, whom we'd been calling Tad for three months.

She went on to explain that I could go home and let "it" pass naturally. Or I could have a D&C.

Todd flew home to be with me when I had the D&C. When the doctor's bill arrived in our mailbox, it came with a typo. In the box describing the procedure, someone had typed, "Abortion." Instead of starting off with a fresh form, they painted it over with a thin layer of Wite-Out and retyped, "Miscarriage." For some reason it just felt like salt in the wound.

Sarah’s words. Our babies would be a year apart, right on schedule.

So the baby Sarah and Todd were calling Tad would have been conceived about the same time of the year as Track to be born one year later. That would have been between July 21 and July 28, 1989.

Sarah had an ultrasound that revealed that the baby wasn’t alive at the beginning of her second trimester. According to Sarah’s words, and the information available at this site: http://www.pregnancy.org/fetaldevelopment/week-16 I think Sarah was probably 16 weeks pregnant when she had that ultrasound.

16 weeks from July 21-28, 1989 was November 10-17. So Sarah most likely had the D&C sometime after November 17, 1989.

Sex is not generally recommended for two weeks after the D&C procedure which Sarah had.

But Sarah evidently got pregnant very quickly because on October 18, 1990 Bristol was born. She would have been conceived around January 18-25, 1990. Just a little less than 18 months after the birth of big brother Track and a bit less than 6 months after “Tad” would have been due.

Perhaps getting pregnant quickly runs in the family so it’s not really far-fetched that Bristol could have given birth to Trig and Tripp both in 2008. If Trig was born even a little before the stated date of April 18, a second birth later in the year becomes even more plausible.

One other weird little thing. Trig’s given birthdate with the exception of the year is a combination of Track and Bristol’s birthdates. April for Track and 18 for Bristol.

Next read suggestion number three; have a get together with friends who will gossip about you being pregnant. Sarah took it a step further by doing the following.

Shortly after that, we decided to go public, so I invited over three reporters, whom I knew well. I knew I could have just spoken candidly and said, “Hey, I’m going to have a baby . . .” Instead, I decided to have a little fun.
“Hey, guys,” I said with a grin, “I wanted to let you know that the first family is expanding.”
They all just looked at me. Dead silence.
Okay . . . let me try something else.
“Remember when I promised to ‘deliver’ for Alaska?”
Nothing. But now they took out their notepads and pens. Big scoop coming, they could feel it.

Suggestion number four seemed to be the hardest for Sarah to accomplish. She could have used this suggestion or this one but Sarah probably isn’t much of a seamstress so she resorted to the old square pillow in the stretch pants trick.

Number five deals with the dilemma of producing an actual child. The article suggests being a part-time nanny to a child and taking it on trips around town in hopes of running into acquaintances.

Sarah took the child she either borrowed or adopted on a political campaign and a book tour in an attempt to fool the whole nation into believing she was pregnant and gave birth in April 2008.

The last tip deals with handling the disappearance of the child. It suggests mentioning the child less and less until friends and family forget. If someone does ask where your kid is you say something like “summer camp”.

I’m sure she’ll make up some story about why she suddenly aborted her journey to Bethlehem but evidently Sarah Palin didn’t know that she had to submit a formal request to tour the West Bank, despite it being standard procedure for any foreign dignitary.

I’m sure there will be a Tweet and a Facebook post “explaining” the circumstances of the aborted trip. I wonder if she had to Wite-out anything?

A funny thing happened while I was typing the above paragraph. I first typed “expalining” instead of “explaining”. Did I just invent a new word for what Sarah does when she has to lie about something?

Searching for the real Sarah Palin? An impossible task, in my opinion.

Like a snake, she sheds her skin and grows a new one regularly.

Like a chameleon, she changes to suit the environment she is in.

In my opinion, the real Sarah Palin lacks self esteem. She is like a child constantly searching for approval; especially from her father Chuck Heath. She always wants more power in order to impress her daddy.

“Look, daddy, look! I’m the Mayor of Wasilla!”

“Daddy, look at me now! I am the Governor of Alaska. Did I do good, Daddy?”

“Daddy, Daddy! I was just chosen to be John McCain’s running mate. I’m gonna be the Vice President of the United States of America, Daddy!”

“I’m running for President of the United States, Daddy! I’m going to be the first woman President! Do you and Mom wanna come and live in the White House?”

She’s kind of pathetic, when you think about it.

Can We Let our Guard Down Now?

Despite Sarah Palin’s sharp decline in favorability ratings among Republicans, I don’t think so.

As it stands now there is really no front runner for the 2012 GOP Presidential nomination.

Public Policy Polling survey results released on Tuesday show that four Republicans are virtually tied. Each potential candidate received less than 20 percent of GOP national primary voters support. Huckabee is out front with 18 percent, Romney at 17 percent, Palin at 16 percent, and Gingrich at 14 percent. Another 15 percent are undecided or their favorite was not one of the choices.

Will Sarah bow out?

I don’t think her ego will let her and now she plans to visit Israel.

“I'm thankful to be able to travel to Israel on my way back to the U.S.,” Palin said in a statement obtained by CNN. “As the world confronts sweeping changes and new realities, I look forward to meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu to discuss the key issues facing his country, our ally Israel.”

She is obviously trying to build up her foreign policy experience.

I would bet Sarah has a list titled “Things I Need To Do To Be Qualified To Be President” and after she visits India and Israel she will put a big check mark next to “Foreign Policy Experience”.

Greedy, Power Hungry Sarah Palin Plus Personal Update

Personal note: Thanks to those who donated for my second trip to the Oncology clinic tomorrow. We are still a little short. We have enough gas to get to my appointment but not enough to get back home. I wanted to reschedule it for next month but my husband won’t let me. Wish us luck…

I do have some good news. I was put in touch with a woman who volunteers to drive people to doctor appointments and she should be able to take us to future appointments. She just requires two week notice. Thanks to those readers who suggested I contact the American Cancer Society.

UPDATE: Thanks to some wonderful readers we had enough gas for the round trip to the Oncology clinic.

The reason they had me come back was so a colleague of my Dr. could take a look at a mole close to where the Melanoma was removed.

As of now she is cautiously optimistic that it is okay. She didn’t think a biopsy was needed at this time but she took pictures to compare on my next visit in three months.

Needless to say, I am very relieved and again thank everyone who helped me get to my appointments.

This recent quote from Sarah Palin caught my attention.

“Well, I’m all about job creation. And I guess I could provide some of these gals who pretend like they are me some job security. I would ask, though, if they’re of the mind of spreading the wealth around, that perhaps they want to spring for one of my kids’ sets of braces or something as they capitalize on pretending to be me,” joked Palin.

Joked Palin?

I think she’s quite serious. With all the money she now has, she still feels she should be compensated if someone else profits from anything to do with her or her family.

She probably thinks she should have been paid to play herself in Game Change. She undoubtedly thinks of herself as a fine actress. After all she did successfully play the role of a pregnant Governor in 2008. In fact she’s always acting no matter what she’s doing.

Sarah is never satisfied with what she has. She always wants more. That mindset is what makes her so dangerous if she were to become President. She would still want more power.

Her past bears this out. She earned the nickname Sarah Barracuda while still in school.Then she was a Wasilla councilwoman but she wasn’t satisfied with that since Mayor was a more powerful position. Once she was elected Mayor did that quench her thirst for power? Of course not but she did abuse the power she had.

Once her terms as Mayor were over she ran for Lt. Governor but was defeated. After that defeat she campaigned for the Murkowski/Leman ticket in the hope that Murkowski would appoint her to his U.S. Senate seat but ultimately that position went to Murkowski’s daughter, Lisa. But Sarah’s butt-kissing paid off as Murkowski offered her a number of positions with her finally accepting an appointment to the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. Despite little background in the field she was named chair and ethics supervisor. She used that position to make a name for herself by filing ethics complaints which resulted in the resignation of the chair of the state Republican Party. Then she resigned her position so she could make other complaints public.

From 2003 to June 2005, Palin served as one of three directors of "Ted Stevens Excellence in Public Service, Inc.," which provided political training for Republican women in Alaska.

By the time of the 2006 Gubernatorial election, Sarah had built a reputation as a reformer and was elected Governor despite the fact that she actually had scant political experience. Her reliance on Todd’s advice, revealed in the emails which were released, likely stemmed from the fact that she wasn’t qualified to serve. Her time as Governor was spent abusing power, rewarding her buddies and living large on the state’s dime.

Even though she was in over her head as Governor that didn’t stop her from craving more power. Sites such as http://palinforvp.blogspot.com/ likely ballooned her already over inflated ego. The possibility of being the GOP VP candidate took root in her mind and she was determined to make that possibility a reality. Babygate and the wild ride were a direct result of Sarah’s insatiable thirst for power.

Even though she was able to secure the GOP nomination, under the harsh spotlight of a national campaign Sarah’s credentials didn’t hold up. Stung by the defeat of the McCain/ Palin ticket, Sarah resigned as Governor and has spent the last few years criticizing the President and First Lady. Sarah seems to view herself as the true leader of the U.S.A. and spouts her rhetoric by issuing tweets and facebook posts.

Can you imagine what would happen if she were to be elected President? Leading the U.S.A. wouldn’t be enough for her. She would want to be the ruler of the world.

Lord help us all if she ever does become President!

I’ve followed Julianne Moore’s career since her days portraying Frannie/ Sabrina on As The World Turns. I’m sure playing Sarah will remind Julianne of her soap opera days.

Woodworking Items And A Little News

I got the x-ray reports today. Nothing noted in my pelvis or hips but I have arthritis in my lower spine. I am so thankful that my pain isn’t due to cancer.

I am still worried about the return trip to the oncology clinic Monday but I am trying to stay positive.

Several reader have expressed interest in seeing pictures of my husband’s woodwork items.

All items are primitive style so they have some flaws which may include small dents, chips, cracks, knotholes or other imperfections. This is by design.

All items are unfinished with the exception of the Shaker Peg Shelf which is painted in a cream color.

All items are made of pine.

Here I Go Again…

First, the Palin related stuff. I am working on something that will hopefully be a big blow to the Palins. I can’t reveal anything yet but if everything works out it will be GOOD.

Now for the personal…

The Oncology Clinic called and told me I need to come back next Monday. They want to have another Dr. take a look at something. I am worried but trying to stay positive.

I thought I would be able to get help with transportation this time but the van that takes patients from my area only goes to that hospital on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The clinic I go to is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays so we will have to drive again.

We set up an account with our heating and air contractor and had our ductwork repaired using what remained of the donations received as a down payment.

My husband is out trying to sell some wooden shelves he built to raise money for the trip.

If anyone would like to buy wooden shelves or would like to custom order small to medium sized wooden items that could be shipped. email me. I can send pictures of examples of my husband’s work. Items can be finished or unfinished.

I hate using this blog to try to sell items but it seems like everything is coming at us at once.

I still haven’t heard from my primary doctor about my x-rays which has me worried as well. This stress is running my blood pressure up. It is usually low – around 98/68 but last time it was 138/98. My doctor wants me to check it at home but the wrist cuff I had broke and I can’t afford another.

Please send good thoughts my way and if anyone is looking for anything like primitive style wooden shelves, gun racks, paper towel holders, free standing wooden cupboards, etc… my husband has items made and can also build to order if it’s not too fancy and you like pine wood. He will sell cheap because we need money quickly.

I Hate Waiting!

I went to my primary doctor yesterday and she sent me for a bunch of x-rays on my spine, hips and pelvis.

Now in addition to waiting on results from my visit to the oncologist, I am waiting to find out if anything shows up on these x-rays.

I hate waiting and worrying. I always imagine the worse.

My doctor also keeps increasing the Gabapentin. I want to sleep all the time.

Please send good thoughts my way. I have to admit I am really scared.

Strange Thoughts That Roam Around In My Head When I Can’t Sleep

I absolutely believe, without a doubt, that Sarah Palin didn’t give birth to Trig Palin on April 18, 2008.

I am not completely certain however that she isn’t Trig’s birth mother.

Sometimes, strange thoughts enter my mind and I can picture Sarah unexpectedly pregnant in the fall of 2007. She absolutely did not want another baby. She considered abortion but was afraid she would be found out. So she starved herself, drank loads of caffeinated beverages, ran herself ragged; hoping for another miscarriage as she had suffered two previously. No such luck, though.

Then she goes into premature labor around her fifth month. CBJ delivers the baby at Alaska Regional hospital. Some of the hospital staff were aware the Governor came into the ER but never suspected she gave birth. Sarah left the hospital and the baby was moved to the NICU at Providence.

Sarah didn’t expect the baby to survive because he had a lot of problems. She didn’t visit him. She told Todd not to visit him. The only family member to bond with the tiny preemie was Bristol who was staying at her aunt’s house in Anchorage to give the rest of the clan updates on the baby’s condition.

When it became obvious that the baby was going to make it, Sarah decided to fake the pregnancy and capitalize on the fact that she hadn’t aborted a Down Syndrome baby. Of course, she didn’t know about the Down Syndrome until he was born because she didn’t have any prenatal care.

The above scenario could explain why Bristol was angry with Sarah in early 2008. She didn’t like being stationed in Anchorage.

It could explain why Sarah said Trig was born in Anchorage.

I can just picture the fake pregnancy being divulged by a rival in the 2012 election and Sarah saying, “I can prove I am Trig’s birth mother. I will take a DNA test.”

And the test proves she’s telling the truth.

When dealing with Sarah, never say never.

Home Sweet Home

We got back from my appointment a couple of hours ago. I was so exhausted I had to take a nap.

I won’t know anything until Monday. I hate waiting on test results.

I have another appointment tomorrow with my primary doctor. I wish I could reschedule it because I am exhausted but I am on Coumadin so I have to have blood work done regularly.

I am ready to get back to babygate. It takes my mind off other things so after I get home tomorrow I am going to try to get my new post finished.

A Big Thanks…

Thanks to everyone who donated money or made suggestions about where I could go to for help with transportation to my doctor’s appointments. I checked around and I should be able to get assistance with future appointments. This one was too soon for arrangements to be made.

I received approximately $500.00 which will more than cover gas and a meal on the way home. The money left will be saved towards a permanent repair of our heating system.

I am working on a new post about Sarah. It should be up soon but I wanted to show my appreciation for all the kindness I received.

Hat In Hand…

UPDATE: I want to thank everyone for their generosity. I have enough to buy gas for my appointment and any excess will be saved towards permanently repairing our heating system. Some readers have made suggestions about places that might offer help with transportation and I will check into those tomorrow. Again, I really appreciate everyone’s kindness.

Under normal circumstances, I would never do this. Even now I have reservations but I am at my wit’s end.

My husband and I are having a financial crisis. Several problems cropped up all at one time and completely wiped out our meager savings.

Our central heat/air system malfunctioned in January. We didn’t realize that it was running constantly until our electric bill arrived and it said we owed nearly $400.00. Our bill is usually around $150.00 because we keep our thermostat on 65 degrees in the winter and bundle up. To make a long story short, a wild animal had shredded holes in the duct work and we were heating underneath our house. We were experiencing really cold temperatures at the time and I guess that animal was doing what it had to in order to survive.

The cost to repair the heating system is $800.00 which we can’t afford but a neighbor helped my husband do a temporary patch job for $300.00 which should hold for awhile.

The cost of the electric bill and patching the heating ducts wiped our savings out. Now I am supposed to go for a medical check up this coming Wednesday.

I am a 3 year Melanoma survivor but I have to have examinations at regular intervals to make sure it hasn’t recurred. This particular check up is important because I have developed back pain of unknown origin since my last visit with my oncologist and the Melanoma was on my back.

The clinic is about 200 miles from where we live and with gas prices so high right now we don’t have enough money to make the trip. Normally we would go a day early and stay at a hotel since my appointments are early morning and the trip is long and tiring for both me and my husband who is disabled as well. This time we would be happy to just have the money for the gas. Where we live it was $3.27 a gallon the last time we bought it. It would take about $55.00 to fill up our car and it takes two tanks for the round trip.

Any donations would be appreciated more than you can ever know. Any other time my son would pay for the trip but his wife was hospitalized last month. She had no insurance because of a pre-existing condition so they are having a rough time with her hospital bills. I asked Social Services if they could help us get to my appointment and the best they could do was offer a partial reimbursement for the costs after the appointment.

Shailey Tripp Follow-up Interview – February 21- 22

Blade: Why do you dislike Todd?

Shailey: I would think that is self explanatory. I do not like Todd for what he brought into my life and for what he has done to other people’s lives.

At first he is charming and seemingly kind. Kind people do not have you do the things he had me do. Kind men do not exploit women.

I have met a lot of wonderful, genuine men; he is not one of them. I think he is an abuser and a manipulator. He tells the truth as it fits his life.

Blade: Did Todd have any special requests for or during the sex?

Shailey: No, he was just insistent that he get a massage.

Blade: Why did you think Sarah was going to confront you?

Shailey: Well, I had been seeing Todd for awhile and other people knew about it. It is a small community and I think you always have that sense of fear that you are going to get caught or confronted. If I were her I would have been confrontational. Sarah is known for being confrontational. I was just scared.

Blade: Did you service any female clients, the way you serviced male clients? Did anyone else in the salon? Did you get any vibes of sexual interest from Sarah when you massaged her, as you did with Todd? Do you think your nervousness could have deterred her from making any requests of that nature?

Shailey: Decline to answer.

Blade: When the news broke at the salon that she had a baby, didn’t the staff or your supervisor remember your massage with her and question you about it? Wouldn’t you have said, no she said she wasn’t pregnant, and wouldn’t that have caused a lot of questions and panic? Wouldn’t everyone immediately start looking for documentation where she states she’s not pregnant, to make sure you all were not personally liable for treating/mistreating a pregnant patient? Did you seek out the advice of a certified prenatal massage therapist to relieve your own mind that you did not harm the fetus during your session? If not, why not?

Shailey: When the news broke that she had a baby, yes, the staff remembered my massage with her. We talked about it with a sense of disbelief, such as "I can't believe she was pregnant. I had no clue."

My massage was not the most remarkable thing to note. I did say I had no idea she was pregnant to the staff.

Documents of high profile clients are carefully stored in a safe place. They are not something any of us could just go and pull out and review at our leisure. I think Ms. Mercier, (owner of AAY spa) was very concerned, very hurt and very shocked.

No, I did not seek the advise of a prenatal massage therapist or an OB/GYN doctor about whether or not I could have harmed a fetus. I did talk to the nurse and doctor I worked for on this matter and they gave me assurance that I didn’t do anything to hurt anyone. Also many massage therapists in the area came to me for training and techniques because people considered me really good. I saw many pregnant women and helped many pregnant women induce labor through massage or Reiki.

Blade: Is there any responsibility of the medical facility (salon) you worked at to report to a patient’s attending physician that medical treatments were given to a pregnant patient in apparent error due to the willful misconduct of the patient? After all, the patient lied about the existence of a fetus. What was your legal/medical responsibility at that point, in the state of Alaska?

Shailey: That is a good question but I am not qualified to answer it.

Blade: Are you stating that from your physical assessment Sarah was definitely not pregnant, or is there still a possibility she could have been? Have you ever massaged a 4 or 5 month pregnant client who did not show physically? Have you ever massaged a woman who recently had an abortion?

Shailey: I am not stating that she was or wasn’t pregnant. I had no reason to believe that she was pregnant when she came in that day for a massage. Looking back, I do not think I massaged a pregnant woman but I admit that could be wishful thinking on my part. Usually, I am the first person to notify people that they may be pregnant or possibly have cancer. However, I am not perfect so things can escape my attention.

I have massaged women in their first pregnancy that didn't show until their 6th or 7th month. Any women who have had multiple births usually show as early as 3 months. That is because their body has already been stretched out and knows what to do.

I have never massaged a woman who recently had an abortion. That would be a very dangerous and life threatening thing to do.

Blade: You stated “I thought she was pregnant and selfish for the things she did to her body” but then later say “I don’t believe she was pregnant when I gave her the massage.” These are two opposite views. Please explain.

Shailey: The first statement was due to the belief that she must have been pregnant because the news announced that she gave birth to a child.

Later, when I said “I don’t believe she was pregnant when I gave her a massage”, that was in reference to looking back at those events and reviewing things after being asked if I thought she was pregnant.

Blade: Why didn't you expose Todd's cheating and Sarah's not being pregnant much earlier than this; specifically when Sarah was named to the McCain ticket?

Shailey: I had no reason to and I would never want to hurt people on purpose. If I did it would have only been perceived as something mean and no one would have believed me. I just wouldn't have done that. People in my life would have been hurt, too.

Blade: When you first met Todd, were you aware that he was the Governor’s husband?

Shailey: No, not when I first met him. It took me a few months to realize that.

Blade: Just to be clear, was Todd the first client you ever had sexual relations with?

Shailey: In the sense that he was a paying client, yes. I have dated previous clients but I would no longer see them as clients.

Before Todd, I never broke my professionalism in the massage room. Before Todd, I never had sexual contact with a client in the massage room.

Blade: How long after meeting Todd at the school, did he first show up for a massage at the salon you worked at? Did he request you specifically or were you the only masseuse there?

Shailey: About 4 or 5 weeks. I was one of 2 masseuses at the time. As far as I know, he requested me.

Blade: Sarah has stated that her "tight abs" allowed her to hide her pregnancy. As someone who has massaged her abdominal area, do you recall if they were really that tight? Do you remember if Sarah was really slender? Was her abdomen bare when you massaged it? Do you think you would have noticed a pregnancy of at least 19 weeks gestation, which given the stated due date of May 18, 2008, is the number of weeks she would have been pregnant the first week of January and taking into account that you have stated that you believe the massage took place between February and March of 2008? For reference, you can search Google images for pictures of women at various weeks of pregnancy.

Shailey: I am not perfect. I did say I expressed some concerns to her before we parted ways. I have massaged many toned women and athletes. I usually can tell if someone is pregnant at around the 3 month mark. This is because a woman's hips widen, breasts enlarge, and a certain tenderness occurs for women. Also, things like light headedness, headaches and nausea can occur during a massage when a woman is pregnant. These things happen at around 3 months. I did not see her naked. I massaged her through a sheet and I don't remember there being anything to indicate to me that there might have been a baby developing in her. I am not a trained physician and I wasn't her regular massage therapist. I can make mistakes.

An Interview With Shailey Tripp: UPDATE

This interview was conducted through an email exchange over a period of three days.

Shailey Tripp Interview - February 16 - 18, 2011

Blade: Hi, Shailey. I appreciate your granting me this interview.

I already know a little about you from my research. Here is the background information I have for you. Is anything incorrect or would you like to add anything?

You are 36 years old and originally from Louisiana. You are divorced from your 2nd husband and raising two special needs children, a boy and a girl, on your own. You are a licensed massage therapist and also held a manicurist license. You do computer programming and enjoy writing poetry and short stories among other things.

Shailey: My Dad was military and we moved often. I consider Louisiana my home state and I did complete high school there but I was born in North Carolina.

Blade: When and why did you move to Alaska?

Shailey: I moved to Eagle River, AK in 2002 with my first husband. Later in 2002, I moved back to Huntsville, AL. I went back and forth between Alaska and Alabama until 2004. In April of 2004, I moved to Alaska as my permanent home. I still visited Alabama, trying to repair my second marriage. All contact with my second husband ended in the fall of 2005.

I believe I have kept a driver's license, voting card, and my business license in Alaska from 2002 until the summer of 2010.

Blade: Did you live in Wasilla? If so, when? If not where did you live?

Shailey: I lived in Wasilla, AK from February 2005 until early September 2006. Then in November of 2006, I lived in Palmer, AK. From May of 2009 to May 2010, I lived in Anchorage, AK.

Blade: When did you first meet any member of the Palin family? Who was it and under what circumstances? How would you describe their attitude? Friendly? Uppity? Holier than thou?

Shailey: I first met a member of the Palin family in late November or early December of 2006. I met a daughter at a public school I was subbing at. I was a recess monitor and lunch monitor for 3 days.

On one of those days, this daughter was causing a problem in the lunch line. I scolded her, placed her in a time out and then made her go to the end of the lunch line.

In the gym after lunch, she was a little mouthy. Very typical teenage behavior, nothing really crazy. I sent a note to her parents.

The next day her father came to school and had the daughter apologize. He also offered an apology. We casually talked. He told me that his name was Todd. I told him mine was Shailey and that I worked at a nearby hair place that offered tanning, manicures, and massages. I was the massage therapist. That is how it all began. It was very casual. Nothing weird. I didn't say anything to him that I wouldn't say to any other person I was meeting for the first time. I only remember it because of the way he was dressed, his manners, and because of what the relationship became.

Blade: When and where did you first meet Todd? How long after you met Todd did your relationship become sexual? Was your relationship with Todd different than with other clients? Did he ever confide in you? What brought about the end of your relationship with him?

Shailey: That is a good question. I already answered how I met Todd and how our relationship began in the previous question.

My relationship with Todd was different from other clients because we had sexual contact. That was the first time this happened to me in this context.

I want to let you know right upfront that the first time I lived in Alaska, I worked in a very upscale place. The women there taught me that you could take your shirt off to give a massage and earn extra money. It was even encouraged but no one wanted to "know" about it. So I was predisposed to the idea, but was very shocked when it happened. I heard rumors but didn't believe that kind of thing really happened.

After about 3 massages with no incidents or anything, weird things started to happen. At first it was a lot of wiggling on the table and some noises, which he hadn't done previously. He was lingering and making a point to touch my hand. In fact, I think this happened the 3rd time ( the noises, lingering , and touching my hand).

Then the next time, at the end of the massage, he rolled over onto his back and asked if that was it. He then placed my hand on his penis and asked if I could help him out a little. I thought I was going to die. He immediately said nice things to me and offered an extra $50.00. I did what he wanted.

Then it progressed to, “Well, you did this last time. Can you take your top off this time?” Eventually, it led to sex. If that is what he wanted he provided the protection and he left with it. He always paid an extra $50.00 to $100.00 and he always took anything he used with him. Also, he really did want the massage. Weird, huh? Always.

After about 6 months he started to refer what he called “business friends” to me. Sometimes he paid for them in advance, cash only, and those men would also leave $50.00 to $100.00. Sometimes he would drop the money by in an envelope. The first time he did this the girls in the shop teased me. The first time he sent someone to me, I honestly thought it was a referral to help me. A legitimate referral. When I realized the man wanted more than a massage, both he and I were stunned that the other didn't know what was going on. He was even angry.

Blade: Sometime during Sarah's gubernatorial campaign you donated some gift certificates and products that you thought were for a real estate agency. Was that the Kristan Cole agency? Were the gift certificates for massage services? How long are gift certificates for massage services valid?

Shailey: I do not remember the agency. I think it was along the lines of the owner of the shop said she was gathering donations for such and such a cause. She named what she was donating and asked could we all match her. There was a big real estate convention at the time and a real estate agent picked up the donation. I remember her saying the donated items were going in thank you gift bags. Yes, the gift certificates once used came back to me, and yes it would have names on them and dates used. No, I can not give you that information at this time.

Blade: You said you gave Sarah Palin a massage sometime between January 2008 and March 2008. Are you certain it was in that time period? Was that the first time you had ever seen her in person? If not did she appear different to you in any way?

Shailey: I am certain. I lean towards the February - March 2008 time frame. No, it wasn't the first time I had seen her in person but it was the first time I had any personal encounter with her. No, I met her while she was laying down.

Blade: You asked Sarah if she was pregnant before starting the massage and she said no. Did she hesitate or was it an assertive no?

Shailey: She said no. Her answer didn't raise any red flags for me. I had no reason to doubt her.

Blade: You said that Sarah was laying on her stomach on the massage table. Did she seem to be in any discomfort while in that position?

Shailey: She seemed fine to me other than it seemed like it was hard for her to relax. To her credit, that is not unusual for your first massage with a person you don't know.

Blade: You stated that you massaged Sarah's abdomen so at some point she had to move from her stomach to her back or side. Which position was she in for the abdominal massage? Did she have any difficulty changing positions?

Shailey: This particular massage started facedown, which means she laid on her stomach. Then mid way I had her turn over so she was laying on her back. She seemed able to do this without assistance and made no complaints other than her stomach was sore.

Blade: Did you notice anything about Sarah during the massage that indicated she was pregnant? Was there anything about her that seemed unusual? Approximately how long did the massage last? Did Sarah make small talk with you? If so do you remember anything she said?

Shailey: Again, I had no reason at anytime to think she was pregnant. I was more worried that she was going to confront me and get me fired than I was about anything else. I did remember her shoes.

The massage lasted approximately 50 minutes. She wasn't a talker other than indicating what she needed me to work on or asking me to adjust pressure. I was just happy when it was over and hoped that she got something out of it because I felt it was the worst massage of my life.

Blade: After you finished the massage, did you remain in the room while Sarah got down from the table? If yes, did she request any assistance? When you've given massages to other pregnant women do they usually ask for help getting on or off the table?

Shailey: I did not assist her getting on or off the table. I left the room after telling her to remain laying down. I washed my hands, then got water and took it to her. I advised her on a few things and left the room to give her privacy to get up and get dressed. I charted my notes and left. Usually, I stay to talk to a client after giving a massage but in this case, I left and went to the break room.

Blade: At any time did you see Sarah in a standing position while not fully clothed? If so did she appear to be carrying any extra weight in the abdominal area? Did you observe her walking? Was there anything suggestive of pregnancy in her gait?

Shailey: No, I don't think I saw her in a standing position that day.

Blade: Do you know if Sarah used a gift certificate for the massage that you gave her. If so do you know if it was one of those that you donated?

Shailey: No, she did not use a gift certificate. I was paid for that massage through either the doctor or the nurse I worked for. I would have to really research that to know how I got paid for that massage. I do not know how she paid for this service.

Blade: Did you and your co-workers learn of Sarah's pregnancy prior to the birth of Trig? If so what was the general reaction? What was the reaction to her traveling from Texas back to Alaska to have the baby? Was there talk about it being a dangerous thing to do?

Shailey: One day in the break room, the radio was on. They said Gov. Palin had a baby and we were all like, “What?”. Shortly after another worker came into the office talking about her having a baby and we were all just shocked. It seemed to us that she had recently been in, (meaning within the past month or 2) and none of us had a clue. We were shocked!

We did pay attention to the news on this subject after that. I remember a small T.V. in the break room but it was taken out after we all misused it.

I did not know about that trip until last week. I have been doing some reading up on the curiosity of her being pregnant. I had no idea that it was a big deal or that any theories on her pregnancy existed. When I was 20-something weeks pregnant and needed an angel flight they almost didn't fly me so I am unclear as to how she was able to fly on a commercial flight.

Blade: Did you ever hear rumors about Bristol being pregnant in early 2008? If so what did you hear?

Shailey: I heard rumors that summer and that fall if I remember correctly. I heard them at a beauty shop I worked at in the valley; not at any of the clinics I worked at.

Blade: Is there anything that you would like to add about your experiences with the Palins or about yourself?

Shailey: I still feel a little mystified as to why anyone would care that I gave her a massage other than because of her celebrity status. Anything that took place between me and the Palins was really a minor event in my life compared to other things that were happening to me personally. These interactions took place at a time in my life when I was in extreme hardship and was trying to rebuild my life from that hardship. Also, my kids needed a lot of medical attention and that is where my main focus was. I really do not know anyone in that family other than Todd.

That concluded the original interview but I had some follow-up questions for Shailey. Her responses to those questions are below.

Blade: The place where you first gave Todd massages, was that AAY Spa or another place? If it was a different place, did your sexual relationship with Todd begin there? Did Todd follow you when you began working at AAY and after that when you had the office in Anchorage?

Shailey: The place I first gave Todd a massage was another place. There are several of these kind of places all over the area. The name of the place I first gave Todd a massage at was xxxxx,and later, there was a massage at ooooo. However, this time was so congested and so many things were happening that I am not 100% sure if I had sex with him at xxxxx. I think I saw him there for his initial massage. Then at ooooo (the original location which later moved), I had sex with Todd for the first time. I am not sure these shop owners would want their businesses’ names published but I mentioned them so you are clear. Also, ooooo and xxxxx are physically very close to one another. At some point xxxxx went out of business.

Blade: When you say that you remember Sarah's shoes, can you explain what you mean? What was memorable about them?

Shailey: I love shoes!!! I fantasize that I, in my daily life, wear ultra high heels. The truth is I am clumsy as hell and they hurt my feet. The aunt I admire most can play basketball in her heels.

Anyway, there were several times I was in Wasilla shopping for shoes and all of the women’s shoes were not available because Sarah had bought them all. So naturally when she came for a massage, I admit I did check out what kind of shoes she was wearing. She had on these amazing 6 inch taupe heels. I have no idea what brand of shoes they were but I loved them and me being me, thought it was kind of funny that she wore them.

Blade: Do pregnant women usually request assistance getting on or off the table?

Shailey: Pregnant women always ask for assistance getting on and off the massage table as do geriatrics. Most importantly, if I know a woman is pregnant, I have a special stool for them to use and also a special way I like to position them. Sometimes I even offer a chair instead of a table.

Additionally, I would never do certain types of massages on a pregnant woman due to blood pressure issues and possible labor.

Blade: So you weren't aware of Sarah's announcing her pregnancy the first week of March? You didn't hear any of the talk about her not looking pregnant?

Shailey: No, I was not aware of her announcing her pregnancy ever.

Until a few weeks ago when Jesse Gryphen came into my life I had never heard anything about her being pregnant and certainly not "conspiracies" about her pregnancy. This is news to me and a little silly. If anything I thought she was pregnant and horribly selfish for the things she did to her body while she was pregnant. It never occurred to me that she wasn’t pregnant or faked it. It still seems absurd to me because I can’t relate to it at all or even understand a motive for it.

Blade: After learning that people believe Sarah faked her pregnancy in 2008, what is your personal opinion? Do you believe Trig is her and Todd's son?

Shailey: I honestly don't know what to believe. I don't believe she was pregnant when I gave her a massage. But that may be wishful thinking on my end because I hate to think I harmed her or her child in anyway!

I don't like Todd (at all) and the only nice thing I can say about him is that he really loves his children. I believe he loves Trig.

I think everyone reading this will agree that the truth never changes. Events that actually happened a certain way can’t later be changed. I had a chicken tender for breakfast this morning. That will always be a fact. Sometime in the future I might say that I had a bowl of cereal but that would not be the truth.

Sarah Palin said that Trig was born at Mat-Su Regional Hospital on April 18, 2008 and that he was due on May 18, 2008. The same story was reported here and by numerous others newspapers, magazines and websites. Millions of people accept this as truth.

So if this is the truth why has Sarah Palin’s recount of the birth of Trig changed? How is it possible that Trig was now born in Anchorage when Mat-Su Regional Medical Center is located at 2500 S. Woodworth Loop in Palmer, Alaska.

According to MapQuest it is nearly 38 miles from Palmer to Anchorage.

They are definitely not the same place but watch the video here. During this speech Sarah says that Trig was born in Anchorage. That may be the truth but if so it was a lie that he was born at Mat-Su Regional Hospital. A baby can’t be born in two different places.

Unless one of the babies presented as Trig was born in Anchorage and the other at Mat-Su Regional and Sarah got mixed up.

Another change in Sarah’s birth tale is how far along in the pregnancy she was when Trig was born. The due date given in the news stories above was May 18, 2008. Trig’s official birthdate is April 18, 2008. Thirty days early or just over four weeks. That would be between thirty-five and thirty-six weeks gestation. Forty weeks is full term.

In this video, though, Sarah says that Trig was born when she was seven and a half months pregnant. That would be thirty-two weeks gestation.

Information about the 32nd week of pregnancy.

All of the babies mentioned above required care in an NICU and they didn’t have the additional complication of Down Syndrome.

After reading all this information I can’t reconcile it with this image of a supposedly newborn Trig.

Maybe he was born at thirty-two weeks and was presented on April 18, 2008 but this picture is not of a baby just born at thirty-two weeks gestation.

The truth never changes. Sarah has either forgotten the lies she told and is making new details up, she is starting to reveal the real facts of Trig’s birth only omitting that she isn’t his birth mother or she is mixing up facts about two babies that have been presented as Trig.

Either way her actions prove that she is lying one way or another.

Personally, I think she is mixing two birth stories up. I don’t find it plausible that she would simply forget what she said at the time Trig was supposedly born with her words easily looked up online.

Borrowed Babies?

Since the very beginning of Babygate there has always been the question: Did Sarah Palin borrow one or more babies and present them as Trig?

Some find it a very unlikely scenario. What woman would allow someone else to pretend to be the mother of her baby? Especially a tiny, rather fragile baby like the one referred to as Ruffles.

Others believe that a borrowed baby is definitely a possibility. A borrowed baby explains why the baby in the Triggybear pictures looks very different from the baby the Heaths are holding at the hospital.

I am with the latter group. I believe that Sarah did borrow Ruffles. But why would someone allow Sarah Palin to use their infant in such a way?

Money?

Possibly a mother strapped for cash would consider such a deal but I really don’t think that is the case.

I think a much more likely explanation is that Sarah’s good friend, Dr. Cathy Baldwin-Johnson helped her obtain an infant to play the part of Trig when the real Trig was too sick to be trotted out for photo ops.

Why wouldn’t Sarah just say that Trig was ill?

Because then her reported actions during The Wild Ride would have been called dangerous and stupid. Also, she really wanted to be seen with a precious bundle of joy during that time period to cement her reputation as a pro-life wonder woman in the minds of Christian Evangelicals. The VP nomination was at stake.

So CBJ was called on once again to help Sarah out.

The doctor, who works with sexually abused children, could easily have had access to babies born to her clients who were being put up for adoption. I believe that may be how Sarah obtained Ruffles and why that baby was only seen for a short while. His or her adoption went through.

I really hope Ruffles was adopted because the alternative sends cold chills up my spine.

I hadn’t really given the baby shower much thought until one of my recent posts elicited several responses about the photo with Todd Palin holding a cake on his lap. The majority seem to agree that something is very wrong with that picture and that most likely it was photoshopped.

Even though I had seen that picture many times, I had never really noticed how odd it is. Why would Todd have the cake on his lap in the first place? That is a huge cake! Then it’s plain to see that Todd isn’t even holding the cake. Wouldn’t the weight of that cake make it slide right off of his lap?

Thanks to a donation from a generous reader, I was able to have photo analysis done on several pictures from my Palin collection. The analysis confirms that the photograph with the cake was indeed altered using photoshop. Unfortunately, the analysis can only confirm that edits were made to the picture but not exactly what those edits were.

However, knowing that picture was indeed altered brings up questions. What do we really know about the event pictured above?

Supposedly on Sunday, May 4, 2008 Sarah Palin was honored with a baby shower. This article makes it sound quite the homey affair.

Sarah Palin's baby shower included a surprise guest: her own baby. He had arrived in the world a month early, so on a sunny May day, Palin, the governor of Alaska, rocked her newborn as her closest friends, sisters, even her obstetrician presented her with a potluck meal, presents and blue-and-white cake.

No mention of Sarah’s daughters. It seems a little odd that neither Bristol, Willow nor Piper are in any of the shower pictures. One of the pictures shows a girl holding the baby being presented as Trig so it obviously wasn’t adults only. I would think that Sarah’s girls would attend but there’s no evidence that they did or didn’t.

Todd’s being there seems strange since most men avoid baby showers. His attire looks too casual for the occasion since the rest of the guests are dressed rather nicely. Could it be that Todd wasn’t really there? Was he photoshopped into the picture along with the cake and if so, why?

Where was the shower held? Was it at Kristan Cole’s home?

Where are the typical baby shower decorations? The streamers and balloons?

Where are the pictures of Sarah opening gifts? Or the gifts piled on a table?

Where are the pictures of the guests eating since there was supposedly a meal served? Or the pictures of the cake and other food on a table? Where are the shower favors?

Where are the pictures of the guests playing shower games and oohing and ahhing over the baby?

Where are the pictures of the guests fawning over Sarah?

Where are the pictures of Sarah and baby with her and Todd’s moms?

At the top of this post are the pictures of Sarah’s baby shower from Kristan Cole’s blog that were supposedly posted on May 5, 2008. Look at them again and compare them to the pictures from real baby showers.

Doesn’t Sarah’s seem fake? Cold and sterile with pictures that could have been taken at any type of event. Perhaps an open house since Kristan Cole is a real estate agent. Staged for the purpose of convincing people that Sarah and Todd Palin just had a baby with the only thing hinting at an actual baby shower being the photoshopped image with Todd holding a cake.

Well, we knew it was coming. The Palins have been too quiet of late. I can already imagine the flood of sympathy and of course, donations, that will come pouring in for poor poor Saaaraaah.

She will be noble and handle Todd’s infidelity with dignity proving how truly worthy she is of being the first woman President. At least, that’s the front that will be presented.

Her fans will believe. The rest of us know better.

Another Puzzling Picture UPDATE

This update is to clear up a few things that seem to be confusing some readers and add information pertaining to some comments.

The picture of Sarah wearing the pink sweater wasn’t taken at Tripp’s 2nd birthday party. It’s just part of a slideshow featuring pictures of Tripp over the past two years. The caption says Sarah and Tripp.
The picture with the cake is one from the May 3rd, 2008 baby shower. My reason for putting it in the side by side is to show that it’s possibly the same baby in both pictures.

I also have a couple of more pictures I want to add.

The first addresses a comment by a reader suggesting that the baby in the picture where Sarah is wearing the pink sweater might be the daughter of Alaska State Senator Gretchen Guess. That baby was born in Feb. 2005 and doesn’t resemble the baby Sarah is holding to me.

The next picture is regarding dating the photo by comparing Sarah’s eyeglasses. The picture on the left is from March 8, 2008. The one on the right is from March 29, 2008. The eyeglasses Sarah is wearing in the picture on the right look to be the same as in the picture where she is holding the baby. I have seen pictures where she is wearing those eyeglasses in 2007. Search for Sarah Palin at http://www.alaskastock.com/ and you will find several. Obviously, Sarah switches between the various pairs of eyeglasses she owns. Ironically, in the photo on the right Sarah is pictured with a pregnant Willow Olson, who gave birth to her second son on July 20th, 2008. The pictures below are located at www.palindeception.com which continues to be a valuable source of information.

Please keep the comments and suggestions about the baby pictured below coming. Email me if you would like to share something with me privately. In spite of what the commenter T said, I don’t believe it’s just some random baby. I think there is a good possibility that baby is Ruffles and that Ruffles is a girl.

Recently this picture was brought to my attention.

It is part of a slideshow celebrating Tripp’s 2nd birthday at this website. The caption on the photo says “Sarah and Tripp”.

This baby doesn’t look like Tripp to me. I have looked at many pictures of Tripp over the last few days and can’t find even one where he looks like this.

The person who sent me the link to the slideshow doesn’t think it’s Tripp, either. They also contacted Patrick at Palingates regarding the picture.

Patrick’s reply was that he’s 99% sure that the picture is of Sarah holding Alaska State Senator Donald “Donny” Olson’s daughter. Palingates almost always has the facts but the problem is that Olson has no daughter. He has three sons. Colby, Martin and Donald Jr.

While doing research in an attempt to identify the baby in the photo above, I clicked the photo gallery link on http://www.aksenate.org/index.php?id=20. Notice that at one time there were several pictures of Sarah Palin on the page but all of them have been removed. I wonder what’s up with that?

However, upon further research, I found this .pdf. Scroll down a little and there is a picture of Sarah holding Martin Olson. Martin doesn’t look like the baby in the picture above.

Willow Olson’s Twitter and Facebook accounts show pictures of her two sons. Donald Jr. is the youngest. He doesn’t look like the baby in the photo, either.

Colby has a Facebook account that rules out any possibility of him being the baby held by Sarah. So who is the baby in Sarah’s arms?

The person who sent me the link suggested that the baby could be an older Ruffles.

Here is a side by side for comparison. I think it is definitely possible that both pictures are of the same baby.

One more thing about the picture on the right. Is the baby wearing a pink sweater? Perhaps Ruffles is or was a girl after all.

Is Sarah Palin Another Mommie Dearest?

Mommie Dearest is a well-known book which was also made into a movie about the actress Joan Crawford.

The above paragraph could be a description of Sarah Palin with just a few changes in the wording. It might read something like this.

Sounds a lot like Sarah to me as does the following passage from another blog.

Christine Lawson in her book, Understanding The Borderline Mother, writes,

" Trust is a major issue between borderlines and their children. Children cannot trust the borderline mother for many reasons: (1) She is manipulative. (2) She distorts the truth and may even blatantly lie. (3) She may physically harm them. (4) She is unpredictable. (5) She overreacts. (6) She is impulsive. (7) She has poor judgment. (8) She has unreliable memory. (9) She is inconsistent. (10) She is intrusive. Like Alice who confided in the Cheshire Cat, children of borderlines may learn to trust a pet more than their own mother." p. 8

For her children’s sake I hope she gets help before it’s too late but I have a feeling one day we’ll be reading the tell-all book by one of the Palin kids.

A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

Update: I just want to clarify that the email exchange in my post “View From The Other Side” was not with Alex Fuller. I received the picture from an anonymous source unrelated to the Palins or Fullers. The email exchange was unrelated to the picture.

As for Alex’s age, I came across some information that indicated he was 20 years old, hence my comment that he was around Bristol’s age. A comment to this post pointed out links to stories of an Alex Fuller who is competing in various sports for Wasilla High this year. I don’t know if there are two Alex Fuller’s in Wasilla or my info about his age was wrong. His name is Alex N. Fuller if anyone has any additional info about his true age.

Lately I have been reviewing my collection of Palin related pictures. There are a couple that I want to share with my readers.

The first is an old picture from 2008 of Sarah taking Trig from Bristol’s arms. Notice the pained expression on Bristol’s face. She doesn’t appear at all happy to be handing the baby over to her mother. It looks like Bristol is thinking, “Please be careful with my baby.”

The second picture is one I was sent by a reader who wanted to show me that Trig is happy and well cared for. I don’t know when it was taken but it seems fairly recent judging by Trig’s size. I was reluctant to share it but after learning the identity of the young man pictured with Trig, I decided to go ahead. The guy cuddling with Trig is Alex Fuller of Wasilla. He is the son of Juanita Fuller, Palin family friend who also has been identified as Sarah’s manager.

From what I have been able to learn about Alex he is around Bristol’s age and a good friend of all the Palins. I know a fair amount about young men of this age. Most aren’t much interested in snuggling up with toddlers unless they are related and a lot of times not even then. Now, I’m not saying that Alex is Trig’s daddy but this picture certainly makes me wonder.

View From The Other Side

Recently, I engaged in a series of emails with a man who believes Sarah Palin is fit to be President. I thought everyone might like to read his perspective. It is a classic example of why we can’t give up trying to expose the skeletons in Sarah’s closet.

His identity has been removed from the correspondence. No other parts of his emails were modified.

The emails I received from this man are in bold red.

My replies are in bold blue.

Also please be sure to look at the bottom of this post. I have posted a picture of a guy I am trying to identify. I know I have seen this person before and he definitely is a friend or relative of the Palins. Please email me if you know anything about this person.

In you blog you wonder if Sarah Palin is fit to hold public office. We now have a man-child as POTUS whose background was teaching, Illinois state representative who voted present most of the time, was a community organizer, was in the US Senate for 18-months and ran for President. If such a person is fit for public office, Palin should also be. At least she was a governor.

Hi - No politician is perfect. They are fallible human beings like anyone else. The problem with Sarah Palin is that she demonstrates traits that indicate she may be mentally ill. My blog focuses mainly on the possibility that she faked a pregnancy and is using a child for political gain. Can I prove it? No. Does available information, much of it straight from Sarah Palin's own mouth, point to it being true? Yes. However, even if Sarah is Trig's biological mother her actions during her pregnancy and delivery of Trig show she has poor judgment and little if any common sense. A woman who has any degree of concern for an unborn child she is carrying would put that child's well being before anything. She supposedly awoke at 4am CST on April 17, 2008 with contractions and leaking fluid. She claims that she talked to her Dr. and they agreed it would be okay for her to rest till around noon, give a speech and then board a flight back to Alaska. The prudent course of action would have been to go to one of the nearby hospitals in Dallas to be examined. There was plenty of time for her to do just that and still make that speech if everything was okay. Any unborn child deserved that much concern. Now add in the fact that the child Sarah Palin was supposedly carrying had been diagnosed with Down Syndrome. Do you see my point? If she would take such risks with her own child's health not to mention her own, she is not fit to make decisions that affect our whole nation. Just think about her actions and ask yourself if they were sensible. If you're married and your pregnant wife wanted to do as Sarah Palin did would you go along with it?

It is purely speculation, but some think also that Obama was born outside the United States. It cannot be proven but one must wonder. Like John Kerry's military records, if Barack would just settle the question and release his birth certificate, the matter would be closed.

I do not know why you are worried about what Sarah Palin does in the future.If she decides that a run for President is in her future, that will be a tough road as there are many other choices for the Republicans to make.

Hillary Clinton could have also been elected in 2008. She had a good point- what would the man-child do at 300AM to hear that a US ship had been hit by an Iranian missile. Call Bill Clinton like he did on Friday because "Michelle my bell" was calling him to come to her aid at XMas party.

Hi - First, I do not have any syndrome. The questions surrounding Trig Palin's birth are valid and relevant to Sarah Palin's fitness to hold office. Whether or not she gave birth to the child, her actions demonstrate that she lacks judgment at best and is an attempted murderer at the worst. How could a pro-life woman take the chances she took with her unborn child's life? If she was pregnant with Trig it seems she would have been extremely cautious since by her own admission in Going Rogue she had suffered two previous miscarriages. Any way you look at her actions, something is just wrong. Faking a pregnancy is less evil than attempting to miscarry by taking all kinds of foolish risks while pregnant but doing either one makes her unfit to lead this country.

Do some research on Sarah Palin for yourself. You might be surprised at what you find.out.

From what I can determine, there was no public criticism against Palin until John McCain made her his VP candidate. When it was found that she was a conservative and even a NRA member, the left wing press and others seem to go crazy. It is hard for me to understand why there is so much hate and possibly fear against this woman. With her run with John McCain, her book and the TV reality show on Alaska, she seems to have become very successful. Look at Hillary Clinton-"Slick Willy" made it possible for her to be financially successful. I do not think Hillary has as much fun in life as Palin but she does have some financial assets. I cannot imagine Hillary on a hike, in a boat, shooting a 12-gauge shotgun, camping with children and cleaning salmon.

It seems that most want to criticize her for traveling by commercial air from Dallas to Alaska on April 17, 2008. She and her husband made a trip to Dallas for her to give keynote address for an Republican Governors energy conference. The baby was due in mid-May, 2008 and airlines do allow women to fly before the 36th week. Alaska Air leaves the decision to the woman and her doctor. Early on April 17, Palin had some contraction and fluid discharge. She called Dr. Cathy Baldwin-Johnson at Mat-Su Medical Center in Alaska. Since Palin had four previous children, she was aware of an actual contraction. Maybe this was a false

contraction and Palin was not too concerned and wanted to stay to give the noon keynote address. Her husband Todd was with her also and must have concurred.

She gave the speech and boarded Alaska Air in the afternoon for the 8-hour trip back home. The Alaska Air associate,Claren Boren, who checked her in did not notice any signs of distress. Palin was also in contact with her doctor at the start and the changeover in Seattle. She arrived back in Alaska at 1030 and when to Mat-Su with arrival at 1130PM. Dr. Baldwin-Johnson stated that she had to "induce" labor at that time. If she was indeed having real contractions in Dallas, why did the doctor have to induce labor?The baby was not born until 630AM on April 18.

It seems to me that to base all criticism on Palin using this situation is a weak opinion especially to state that she would be unfit to hold high office because she chose to fly home instead of having the child in Texas. Maybe she and Todd wanted to have all their children born in Alaska. Who knows for sure but it is pushing the envelope too soon to say that she is unfit for office because of this decision. She traveled to Texas one month before the baby was due. She was governor of Alaska and was invited by Rick Perry,Texas governor, to give a speech on energy to others. I think she is qualified to talk about energy as Alaska is full of it and she has managed it as well as the previous governors of Alaska.

I do not know what her future plans are for public office. As far as I am concerned, she has more experience than the current man-child and he was elected with no experience except in speech making with a teleprompter and a couple of book memories. I still do not understand all the hate out there on the left. Is it insecurity or the fact that Palin does not represent the feminists policies? She certainly has better looks than the ones on the other side!

Hi - I want to make my position plain. For many reasons, I don't believe Sarah Palin was pregnant in 2008. People in Alaska had doubts about Sarah Palin's pregnancy long before she was nominated for VP. At the same time there were also rumors that Bristol was pregnant and that pregnancy couldn't have been with Tripp because it was too early. But despite the evidence to the contrary, for argument's sake, let's say she was pregnant in April 2008. One would think that a pro-life woman who had a history of 4 previous term pregnancies, 2 miscarriages and carrying a baby which she knew had Down Syndrome, would be extremely cautious. I suppose blind ambition could account for her putting her political aspirations above the well being of her unborn child but when she awoke with contractions and leaking fluid there was no reason for her not to go to a nearby emergency room to be examined. Talking to a doctor on the phone is no substitute for a physical exam and she had plenty of time to be examined before her speech. If everything was okay then she would have been given the okay to deliver her address. If she or the baby were in distress wouldn't a pro-life woman who loved the child she was carrying value the baby's life above her political ambition?

You mention Ms. Boren's remark that Palin showed no sign of distress. Ms. Boren also said that the stage of Gov. Palin's pregnancy was not apparent. I find that odd since this picture has been touted as proof positive that Sarah was indeed pregnant. If I saw a woman with a belly like that I would know right away that the woman was very pregnant. Sarah took a very real risk of delivering on board the airplane since her membranes had ruptured even in the absence of contractions. Labor can progress rapidly, especially when a woman is in her 7th pregnancy and what woman, not to mention one supposedly quite religious, would want to risk having to expose themselves to strangers on a plane?

Another strange thing is that Sarah Palin chose to deliver at Mat-Su Regional Hospital which has no NICU and doesn't even allow twins to be born there except in an emergency. The Palins had to pass by or close to Providence Hospital in Anchorage to get to Mat-Su Regional. Providence has an NICU and Dr. Baldwin-Johnson had privileges there. Considering Trig's Down Syndrome and the fact that he was premature opting to deliver at a hospital which discourages high-risk deliveries is odd, to say the least. Wouldn't it have made more sense for Dr. Baldwin-Johnson to meet the Palins at the hospital in Anchorage?

Also, I can tell you from personal experience why labor was induced. Once the amniotic sac ruptures infection becomes a very real possibility for mother and baby. I experienced PROM (premature rupture of membranes) and even though I followed my Dr.'s instructions and went straight to the hospital my preemie son was born with Pneumonia. So while Sarah may not have been in active labor her water definitely broke. Had her amniotic sac not ruptured labor wouldn't have been induced because of the baby's prematurity. The Dr. would have tried to have the pregnancy continue for as long as possible since every day a fetus is in utero the better the outcome for the baby.

As I said in our previous correspondence, I feel faking a pregnancy is less evil than attempting to lose a baby by taking foolish risks while pregnant but her doing either makes her a non-viable political candidate, in my opinion. If she faked the pregnancy then she is capable of lying and acting out a charade of grand proportion. Yes, most politicians are liars to some degree but the level of deception needed to carry this through is exceptional. Would you want a President capable of that degree of deception? If she was indeed pregnant and took those foolish risks with her own life and the life of her unborn baby would you want someone that cold and calculating as President? I would be concerned that she wouldn't protect our country if she wouldn't protect herself and her unborn baby.

There are many things that point to her pregnancy being fake and the information is easily found doing Google searches on the subject. I guess we will have to agree to disagree about Sarah Palin.

I am assuming that you are a liberal, left-leaning woman who votes for Democrats when there is a choice. Please correct me if this assumption is not the case.

The rumors in August, 2008 about whether Trig was the child from Bristol were negated when Bristol had Tripp in December, 2008. Sarah Palin is the mother of Trig. I have watched some of the program, "Sarah Palin's Alaska". Trig seems to be doing very well despite the Down's Syndrome he was born with. There is much support from the family. Unlike a lot of "liberated feminists" who are strong believers in the "Rowe vs Wade" decision, at least Palin did not abort when it was determined that the fetus could have a birth defect.

I do not plan to support Sarah Palin for 2012 as I would prefer Romney, Gingrich Huckabee or Pawlenty. The current president is trying to radically change our republic to the worst where our freedoms will be hurt and the government becomes more involved in our lives. The present administration will try to bankrupt our economy unless a change is made in 2012.

If you are a supporter of Obama, I would like to hear why since you have such strong feelings about why Sarah Palin is unfit to hold that office. Let me hear why the man-child is so fit to run our country.

Hi - I would say that I am a moderate. I do vote Democrat. I did back Obama only after the primary and like many have not been pleased with some of what he has done. However, I do think he was and is in an almost impossible situation. Things got bad before he was elected and it will take a long time for things to get better. I think this would be the case no matter who is in the White House.

Back to Palin. Actually, it is still possible that Bristol could be Trig's mother. Trig's birth certificate has never been seen so there is no proof that he wasn't born earlier. Even the April 18 birthdate doesn't preclude Bristol giving birth in December. Tripp could have been born prematurely. There was confusion when his birth was first announced. Different dates were given at the time and the announcement came via Sally Heath's sister who lives in Washington. Her name is Colleen Jones, if memory serves and she cold called People magazine and told them Tripp had arrived. It was a few days later before the Palins made any announcement and it was nearly two months before Tripp was seen. Seems strange that the proof that Bristol couldn't have birthed Trig in April was kept under wraps so long. Perhaps he was premature which would have made him proof of nothing so they had to wait to show him until he was bigger. There is also speculation that Bristol may not have been pregnant in fall 2008. It did seem a very convenient pregnancy.

There is also the possibility that someone other than Bristol but not Sarah is Trig's mother. I do think he is related to the Palins. I have to disagree about Sarah's mothering of Trig. I have watched her show on TLC each week it has aired. Sarah Palin has complete control over what is and isn't shown so naturally what you see will be favorable. Sarah has stated that Trig needs glasses and hearing aids and there is at least one photo where he's wearing them but in most pictures he is not. What is even more disturbing are photos from the Going Rogue book tour last year. There are several pictures of Trig inappropriately dressed. One is at night and most people are wearing coats, Sarah included. She is holding a barefoot Trig wearing a sweatshirt that is only partially covering his abdomen. There are other pictures of him outside not dressed for the weather. I do think that someone in the Palin household loves and cares for Trig when they can but I don't think that person is Sarah. I can send you links to those pictures if you're interested but really that is neither here nor there.

I am glad that you don't support Sarah but will you vote for her should she be the GOP candidate? I would hope before making a decision on that one you would dig a little deeper. Sarah has other skeletons in her closet, too.

You certainly are persistent in your dislike of Sarah. I do not believe any of the conspiracy theories about the birth of Trig and Tripp. I do not think the Palin's are smart enough to cover up that for this long. They had some man living next to them last summer trying to uncover more on them. Kind of sickening that someone from outside Alaska to move next door so that he could get more information. We shall wait on his report.

I do not think that Miss Sarah will be the GOP nominee in 2012. Too many others with more experience. They also do not get so much attention in the press.

But if she does get the nod and runs against the man child, I will have to vote for her and her party. His kind of change is one that I do not believe in.

If you want to make a bet and set odds on the chances of Palin getting the nomination in 2012, let me know. She is 46-years old and has time to wait as she is making more money now than she would as president. The man child may not even run again if he gets the nutroots too upset. Then "Mr." Hillary Rodham comes into play. As James Carville said recently, Obama can give her one of his gonads and she will then have two.

More On Alaska’s Birth Certificate Requirements

UPDATE: A reader comes through again. The PFD computer crash did in fact happen before Sarah took office. Apparently Sarah tried to keep the matter quiet, though.

I still think it’s likely that favors were done for Sarah by the questionably qualified people she appointed to positions in the government. We all know Sarah is not going to do something nice for someone without expecting something in return. So even though Trig and Tripp did get PFD checks that doesn’t necessarily mean that their birth certificates were supplied to the agency that administers the fund.

I know that seems obtuse after the insurance company has been paying claims all through a woman’s pregnancy but evidently the state of Alaska is a stickler for details.

Trig and Tripp have both received these payments so that means they must both have birth certificates in their names, right?

There is a Microsoft case study from 2006 but that was before Sarah was Governor and doesn’t mention an actual crash just continual problems that they solved by updating. UPDATE: In the comments, some readers have conveyed that many insurance companies automatically add a newborn to an employee’s health care coverage. Evidently that is not the case with the plan covering Alaska state employees. The following paragraph is from the Select Benefits Health Dependent Enrollment Form. This plan covers most employees of the state of Alaska. I believe this plan most likely covered the Palins.

SELECT BENEFITS HEALTH DEPENDENT ENROLLMENT FORM
When you begin work in a health-eligible position, you must list any dependents to be covered on a “Health Dependent
Enrollment form.” Please complete this form and return it to the Division of Retirement and Benefits. If your dependents
later change due to marriage, meeting or ceasing to meet the eligibility requirements for same-sex partner status, divorce,
birth, or adoption, you must complete a “Health Dependent Change form” to add or delete dependents. Failure to complete
these forms when required may delay payment of claims for your dependents.

Since Sarah was sent the email below obviously the required form was not filed.

If the Palins had a birth certificate for Trig listing them as the parents and dated April 18, 2008 there would have been no reason for them not to send it to the Benefits Section as requested. Therefore, it’s my opinion that the Palins did not have a birth certificate containing the information that matched what had been publicly announced regarding the birth of Trig Palin. Furthermore, I think it’s highly likely that they still don’t have such a document because the real parent(s) have not allowed Sarah and Todd to adopt the child being presented to the world as Trig Palin.

While I am on the subject of birth certificates, I have a question for any readers who have been involved in a child custody case. Did you have to show your child’s birth certificate when filing for custody during a separation or divorce? This information could be relevant to whether or not the truth has been told about Tripp’s birth.

Back in 2008, then Governor Sarah Palin received the email shown below.

The first email was forwarded to Todd who sent the following reply.

So what do these emails tell us? They tell us that over a month after Trig Palin was supposedly born to Sarah and Todd Palin they still hadn’t added him to their state sponsored health insurance plan and Todd’s reaction was to call the benefits department. Or so he claims.

It seems strange that a newborn with Down Syndrome wouldn’t have been added right away since health problems are common in children with Down Syndrome.

Let’s take a look at the policy for maternity and newborn coverage. I have also included the policy on covering dependents. While I can’t be certain that this is the policy which Sarah would have been covered by I think it’s reasonable to believe the coverage would have been similar to this.

Pregnancy
Pregnancy and childbirth are covered like any other medical
condition as long as you are covered under the medical plan.
No pre-existing conditions limitations are applied.
Coverage is provided for a hospital stay for childbirth for at
least 48 hours following a normal delivery or 96 hours following
a cesarean delivery.

Pregnant women may get screening for high-risk pregnancy
factors and receive special counseling about those risks. If you
are pregnant, call the claims administrator as soon as possible
for advice and counseling on having a healthy pregnancy. A
nurse consultant will assess the risk factors in your pregnancy
and discuss ways to reduce them with you, as well as provide
ongoing monitoring and evaluation. The nurse can also provide
educational materials, nutritional analysis and ongoing
support.
If you are totally disabled as a result of a pregnancy problem
and your coverage ends, you may be eligible for extended
benefits. See Continued Health Coverage on page 95. Totally
disabled means the complete inability of an individual to
perform everyday duties appropriate for your employment, age
or sex. The inability may be due to disease, illness, injury, or
pregnancy. The plan reserves the right of determination of
total disability based upon the report of a duly qualified physician or physicians chosen by the plan.
Newborn Care
Newborn care provided within the first 72 hours after birth is
covered. This includes nursery charges, physician’s services
and other routine care for a newborn child and is limited to 72
hours following the birth. Newborn services provided after 72
hours are not covered.
Charges for a newborn who has suffered an accidental injury,
illness, premature birth or other abnormal condition are covered like any other medically necessary services.

So if this plan is indeed the one covering the Palins at the time Trig was supposedly born then he would have been covered automatically for seventy-two hours. The coverage Trig received to begin with didn’t require the birth certificate so the Palins didn’t have to worry about that at the time. For subsequent medical treatment Trig may have been taken to Alaska Native Medical Center which only requires a Certificate of Indian Blood which Todd was probably able to obtain with no problem.

That call he supposedly made to the benefits department might have went like this.

“Alaska State Benefits Department. How may I help you?”

“This is Todd Palin. You know the Governor’s husband. About that birth certificate for Trig…uhhh Sarah and I have decided to use the Native Medical Center for his medical care so we won’t be sending that.”

I don’t think that Sarah and Todd have a birth certificate for Trig because they aren’t his parents. Trig may not even be the real name of the child being called Trig. That would explain why they refuse to show that document. That boy’s birth certificate has his real name, his parents real names and his real date of birth.

A Clue To Trig’s Parentage?

CLOSE-UPS OF BRISTOL’S AND TRIG’S EARS WITH THE BATWING/BOOMERANG SHAPE CIRCLED HAVE BEEN ADDED AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST

Recently I received an email from a reader suggesting that I compare Sarah’s and Trig’s ears for similarities. I looked at several pictures but their ears appear quite different to me. I decided to examine pictures of other members of the Palin family to see if any of their ears resembled Trig’s.

Trig’s ear has a distinctive triangular formation which some refer to as a batwing. I call it a boomerang shape. Out of all the pictures I looked at I could find only one other Palin with the batwing or boomerang shape and that is Bristol. Finding a picture of Bristol with one of her ears showing clearly was difficult but I finally found a couple on this page.

Below are pictures of Sarah, Bristol and Trig. The triangular formation is evident on Bristol’s and Trig’s ears but I don’t see it on Sarah’s.

The fact that Bristol and Trig share this triangular formation of the ear also makes it very improbable that the baby with the ruffled ear pictured below had surgery on his ears and is the child we know as Trig today. What are the chances that after surgery the baby’s ear would have the same batwing or boomerang shape as Bristol’s?

Please share your thoughts on this subject with me and if anyone can find pictures of any of the Palins, Heaths or other people related to them with a similar ear formation please send me a link to the picture.

In the comments some of you have expressed that you don’t get what I mean by batwing. I am referring to the triangular shape just above the earlobe. I have now added close ups of Bristol’s and Trig’s ears with the areas I am referring to circled in red. I hope this clears up any confusion.

Margaret Cho Says That Sarah Forced Bristol To Be On Dancing With The Stars

E! Online is reporting that comedian Margaret Cho, one of Bristol's 'DWTS' competitors, thinks Sarah Palin "forced" Bristol to take part in the reality show to make amends for her pregnancy during the 2008 election.

I think that Margaret speaks the truth because it was pretty obvious most of the time that Bristol was not happy.

What really intrigues me is that Margaret says the reason for Bristol’s forced tenure on DWTS was to make amends for her pregnancy during the 2008 election and that Bristol’s pregnancy was the reason the McCain/Palin ticket didn’t win. That is just absurd!

There was no reason for Bristol’s pregnancy with Tripp (which I am not even convinced was a real pregnancy) to become common knowledge. Bristol could have stayed in Alaska. She didn’t have to appear at the RNC or on the campaign trail. There are so many ways her absence could have been explained. School, illness, broken bone…

You wanted her there, Sarah. You paraded her in all her pregnant splendor to prove that she couldn’t possibly be Trig’s mother because she was five months pregnant. You wanted her there as proof that you were Trig’s real mother. But your plan didn’t work. People still had doubts, Sarah. The majority of voters didn’t want YOU to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency. Don’t blame Bristol for your mistakes, Sarah.

So the pregnancy that Bristol had to make amends for wasn’t the Tripp pregnancy. was it, Sarah? It was her pregnancy with Trig that you hold against her, isn’t it? Just let it go, Sarah! Bristol’s pregnancy didn’t cost you the election. You cost yourself the election when you decided to fake a pregnancy and did such a poor job of it that no one with half a brain believed you were really pregnant. You couldn’t even pretend to be pregnant for more than six weeks because you are. always have been and always will be, A QUITTER!

Isn’t it funny how people with connections to Sarah Palin receive high accolades?

Cathy Baldwin-Johnson Named The 2002 Family Physician of The Year By The American Academy of Family Physicians.

This after being recommended by Sarah Palin.

I’ve always wondered why a physician worthy of such a high honor wouldn’t insist that her pregnant patient who just happened to be expecting a baby with known Down Syndrome go to the nearest hospital for a check-up when that patient was thousands of miles from home and called the doctor to report premature contractions and leaking amniotic fluid. Doing anything except recommending said patient make a visit to the emergency department makes no sense. Never mind that the patient also happens to be the Governor of the state where the doctor lives and practices. It just makes no sense. Unless the call never happened because the patient wasn’t really pregnant.

Another person in Sarah’s life who has received a high honor is Ina Bouker.

Alaska’s 2007 Teacher of the Year is Ina Bouker, a first grade teacher at Dillingham Elementary School.

This is the cousin Ina who viewers met on the latest episode of Sarah Palin’s Alaska.

Ina Bouker’s husband, John Paul, also seen on the show is the owner of Bristol Bay Air Service.

This is the cousin Ina who has a child, Matthew, with Down Syndrome. One would think that Sarah would seek advice from Ina about raising a child with Down Syndrome but I haven’t seen any evidence of her seeking the wisdom of Todd’s cousin. Then again Sarah thinks she knows everything so why would she ask for help?

I have a question for anyone who watched the last episode of Sarah Palin’s Alaska closely. (Her screeching gets to me so I fast forward most of it.)

Did Sarah or someone else say that Ina has seven children? I have read that she has six so if Sarah said seven might that have been a Freudian slip that explains where Trig came from and why he bears a resemblance to the Palins?
